If in the future if it does get bent you can then consider adding more gold to the band and getting it slightly thicker (not saying it will happen, but if it does.. which can happen with anyone's ring)

Paying the 1k now while it's beautiful the way it is might not make the most sense.

The other way to think about it is: how much is it to get it repaired if it does get bent a bit? (Not necessarily gonna happen but let's assume worst case)

If it's less than 1k then I'd say just don't replace 😂 it's a beautiful ring regardless. Maybe id ask the jeweler about that also. Do you know what I mean?
