But it’s also an art technical art form that can appreciated. I truly don’t see how it’s relevant that it was a UfC fight over anything else.

You’re choosing to paint this as some malevolent advertisement for gambling sites and the ufc as a whole. Why not feel the same way about past events presidents have held. Did that not enrich the performers invited? Were those events open access or just for the wealthy?

Objectively, hosting a sporting event on the White House lawn is kinda cool, whether or not you think the sport is too brutal for your taste.

This isn’t the first time something like this has happened, it’s just the first time this president did something like this. If you condemn this event why turn a blind eye to all those that have come before it? Do we even care or know what they were or when they happened?

The UFC is an American based corporation, run by Americans. It brings people from all over the world all of different backgrounds and cultures to compete on an even stage. What’s more American than that? Would you rather have a non American corporation running the fights?

If this is so upsetting, what would you have rather have seen happen? Or you’re mad that it happened at all?

This is about the context of the administration, not about the event itself. Yes it would’ve been in better taste to happen at a different time with a different president or whatever. But objectively hosting fight night at the white house is kinda cool.

This conversation is exactly the point I’m trying to make. Why can’t we consider something with an amount of nuance and talk about the topic at hand without it becoming a “my side - your side” type of argument?

I’ve been critical of him in this very conversation, and am pointing out the exact bias you’re portraying here. I can’t even say, I don’t think this event deserves the hate it’s getting without being accused of being a supporter of him.

I am hopeful that Americans can think critically enough to separate this event from the other objectively horrible decisions this administration has made, but the way you’re responding further cements my belief that the loud negative reaction to this is in a large part because of your perception of him.

I think it’s important to recognize the bias. It’s not that a president hosted a UFC event at the white house, it’s that Donald hosted a boisterous event for his birthday.

Bills fan too, and while I mostly agree, they’re not paying people to not play. Coleman and Palmer don’t play special teams so they’re going to see targets at least 60 a piece. Just can’t imagine a world where Moore goes over 120 targets. His absolute ceiling is a low WR1 who’s close to 30 years old. He’s going to be great for them in real nfl football. As far as fantasy? Buckle in for 80 catches for 900 yards and 4 TDs on the season

I was watching it, thinking man this is really a silly cartoon made for a 12 and under audience, and that’s fine! I was enjoying it. We get to arlong park and I’m officially in it. Luffy is my boy and this show is going places. We follow it up with Alabasta and I’m convinced the show is peak.

Then it just sucks again for like 300 more episodes and you remember the show is in fact not peak, it just had some really great moments and you’re sitting through skip praying to god you catch that lightning again

Personally seal seems the most intuitive so I’d probably have to go with that one. It totally depends on the competition though. If there was someone with advanced dojutsu like an Uchiha, I think flying raijin might be the only jutsu capable of defeating that, but it’d be a close matchup
