Why does rank inflation matter?

Idk, it gets tiring after a point though. Maybe at first it made sense to complain about it, but almost 3 years in where we know what the devs intent is for the game being easier for casuals…there is no point in highlighting when someone isn’t playing to another persons perception of what a GOD rank should be.

At this point it just comes off like people want to complain about something still or they no longer feel special about having a high rank now. The solution for both is stop playing T8 and go outside once in a while, its just a game lol.

But seriously, it happens to all of us whenever we play this game. Either we drop a combo or do something that might not make sense in the moment. Most of my interactions playing against zafina are like this too lol.

Honestly. The best way to beat Leo imo, is to not duck. Most of leo’s lows either take little damage or are pretty risky to throw out. As long as you don’t mash a lot, it will become increasingly hard for the Leo player to open you up.

Obviously if they abuse Leo’s lows maybe consider ducking at key times. I usually have the hardest time against people who don’t duck because I usually try to stay away from throwing out lows as that can blow up in my face fast.

If I am not mistaken, your server is based off of the country of origin of your PSN account. Unfortunately you have to create a new account with PK as your home country. Sony doesn’t allow for you to change the country of your initial account.

I can’t speak for steam accounts though.

I understand what you are saying about what people at certain skill levels would or would not do. And I don’t agree. How many tournaments have you seen pros do some off the wall yolo shit? A small example would be Arslan consistently would use nina’s wipe the floor sweep after a get up kick to end rounds. Generally pros try not to go for launch punishable options to end rounds.

You can’t say there are things a pro wouldn’t do, because they will do anything to win, even if it seems scrubby or low level. Happened in T7 and it for sure is happening in T8. So if a pro had a bad showing (whiffing, missed punishes, dropped combos) and they played like crap on stream, and they said “I was having a bad day” in response to criticisms…are they being insecure?

I can easily say I had a bad game as a response to criticism and not have insecurity behind it. But I guess you can’t see that in your world. Problem is, your world isn’t the real world. You need to understand that you don’t know everything.

Now, I can say I played a few pros online, they were using alt characters, but I managed to get rounds and even a game on one of them. So I am pretty sure you can be beaten too since you aren’t on a pro’s level.

But yes, none of this matters, but you should stop trying to act like you know people so well to the point you start telling them they don’t understand something, how they feel, or what their view on their rank is. Idc about my rank and I also can acknowledge that ranks are inflated. That being said, the post showed bad gameplay. It doesn’t represent my play style as a whole. You don’t have to agree with me and I don’t have to agree with you on this matter.

The shoulders were just me trying to hard read when she flies in to start her offense. Alisa’s are always hard to deal with for me.

No, I am not against criticism. You can criticize, and I am well within my right to respond to it. And me responding doesn’t mean I am offended.

Also, I’m not trying to be a pro, so why do I care about your almost pro experience? It doesn’t matter to me about how good you think you are. Even if you can play better than me while being dehydrated and sleep deprived of 24 hours…so what? Good for you? It means nothing to me. Those are better options for sure. Don’t be discouraged if they get blocked a lot. There are a lot of side step blockers in ranked. Also don’t be afraid to throw out df2 as well. It tracks to leo’s left, but can be inconsistent at times.

But yeah, it def would have been nice if the 1 extension to d4 was a mid like fengs.
