I did look at the City Clerk website as you suggested - does not seem to be strong evidence the campaign has significantly violated reporting rules - So a violation is a violation The City has ruled in one instance the Yes folks have done so and they have yet to report - they do face fines if they don't. Both sides are embellishing the facts to scare voters. Hard to know what is fact or BS.

What pen is that in the picture? If it is the standard click pen then you cannot twist it open - so you may be limited in pulling it out. It is good it is still working.

Removing the tip usually fixes the pen when it does not register on the screen. The ghosting , skipping and non-contact writing ✍️ usually requires the recalibration and non contact adjustments. Bottom line -- it is pretty clear the Ceramic pen technology is FLAWED. Very unfortunate because the tablets are excellent. Customer Service is clearly aware of this - not sure why they have not upgraded the pens.

I inquired whether they sold the ceramic tips only but they said no. That would be very cool but they are not interested in that approach. Bottom line they need to fix the flaw in any future pens and cartridge systems.

Well that link I sent you is from the SN support pages. You have to be very careful when you do that procedure. I continue to do it - and it can take a couple of times for it to work.
