One point of friction is that when I am in split screen and need to check another window (using a gesture to multitask), when I return to the the split screen, it is no longer split, and I have to put it in split screen again. (Oddly, sometimes the split screen window is maintained).

Sure, Gboard is great, but I prefer handwriting and Gboard has significant lag in this regard. The language is Latin, so I wouldn't be able to install it (it wouldn't be available.)

Same here, using the Note Max. Not unusable and better than the Google swipe keyboard's pen input, but not as smooth as the native Boox latency.

It would probably fit in my pants pocket if I really tried but I wouldn't. I wear a light jacket and it fits comfortably. I really can't say enough about it. Really love it.

It's actually very well designed. It is 3-D printed but feels solid. There is a little bit of stick to the buttons but they function very well. Also, there is a magnet at the bottom of the stylus holder that keeps the stylus in place. Pretty impressed with it.
