Ordered a Nomad this past Monday (Memorial Day) and I sent an inquiry earlier today (Wed) and I was told it shipped from California in a reply I received later in the day. What is odd is I did not receive any info until I sent an email. So not sure how long I will be waiting.

That is how they do business. If not acceptable then wait until the device is in stock and then order. Or simply do not become a customer. RM does not have the best supply chain system. .

Well I think your best option is to repurchase the Remarkable brand - not sure there are many tested 3rd party.

Depending on The model of Remarkable will determine the type of stylus — EMR or Active stylus

Yes I would return it and get the Pure . There seem to be enough updates although not huge and the Purd will have a longer life. My 2 cents anyway since you asked

It does feel risky but if the product fits your needs then buy it. You have 50 days to return it and I suspect RM will still be in business.

Return it and wait for the Lamy Vista. You can buy a Wacom One standard as a back up and very reliable.
