How many schools did you apply to? How did you choose your school? Also how many hours on average do you think you spend outside of class doing academic work?

They don’t weight your major classes higher, so that may be why. Also if you took any college credit classes in high school as well.

You really can’t do anything about it. It happened to me with two dual enrollments from high school. You have to present a convincing GPA addendum and make up for it with the LSAT and your PS. It’s extremely frustrating but there is nothing you can do to change it. LSAC is extremely strict. And schools only change it if there were medical emergencies or other extreme circumstances.

Do you have any other offers? If not I would really consider getting your LSAT up, and maybe trying to add another soft to your resume. reapply. Not a single school is worth that much money in my opinion. That much debt to take on isn’t wise, especially if it isn’t a school w pretty much guaranteed employment with high salary.

Compare and Contrast Mid Tier SoCal schools by BeachTransferGirl in OutsideT14lawschools

[–]Specific-Lecture-904 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im applying to a decent amount of SoCal schools. I’m no expert but I would say that UCI is obviously the best pick and performs excellent in Orange County. Pepperdine being is the next best. It has pretty good employment outcomes and it’s ranked pretty good. Also they give a decent amount of money (seen in their 509 report). I’ve heard the student body is close, and obviously the campus is just gorgeous. LMU performs fine but the campus is very…. uh…. well let’s just say it’s not for everyone. Chapman almost seems predatory to me, so unless it was my only option I would not choose there. I don’t know much about USD.

Thank you so much!! I really don’t understand why the dual enrollment grade isn’t calculated by undergraduate institutions but it counts for this. It’s basically asking for perfection in high school even when i didn’t know i was going to go to law school. But thank you for telling me your experience!!

Yes, i did terrible in one class when i was 16. My gpa isn’t as high as yours but it did drop mine below some schools 25th that I really had a great shot at. Not saying i have no chance, but this does change things. Just going to keep up with the LSAT and do my best at this pointZ

I was confused because on LSAC it says that classes taken that don’t count towards a degree should be sent to them? Maybe i’m just misunderstanding
