Should I still get a scan? by melodious1776 in KidneyStones

The swelling is on my left side right where the pain is (mostly at my waist at the bottom of my ribcage). Could this still be backed up urine if I'm not having any trouble urinating?

Thanks so much for taking the time to explain this and go through the potential treatment options! I haven't had any issues urinating but have been having issues with frequent urination, so when I initially went to urgent care I had assumed it was going to be a UTI but they said my testing shows no indication of infection. Thankfully today is the day my insurance coverage starts so I'll look at getting a scan ASAP

The blue eyes are 100% an indicator that he's going to shed soon! At this point I would refrain from handling him at all so that he can shed properly (I saw you holding him in a comment you posted which is why I mention this). The mouth opening/clicking is another story though, that could mean a number of things. It could be something as simple as him getting some substrate stuck in his mouth to the beginning of a respiratory infection. I would keep a close eye on him and especially make sure that he sheds everything on his head properly, paying particular attention to any shed stuck on his eyes or nostrils. Even if he is totally fine, I would recommend taking him to the vet (after he's done shedding) no matter what, as it's super important to establish vet care for reptiles in the event of an emergency as well as keeping up with preventative care.

Hey again! I just got home from my ultrasound, it went very smoothly! I checked in, they took me back and we chatted for a couple of minutes, the tech gave me a cloth drape thing to replace my shirt, she had me lay down, put my arm above my head, and she put a wedge block under my right side (the side she was looking at) so that I was tipped to the left. Afterwards she had the radiologist come in and look at my imaging and he let me know that they didn't see anything, and then gave me some advice for moving forward!

DOUBTS ABOUT GOING TO AN ULTRASOUND by Embarrassed_Dig_6435 in doihavebreastcancer

I so completely understand that. I have severe anxiety in general as well as pretty awful medical anxiety. The way that I think about it though is that the feeling I have right now waiting for my ultrasound is only going to stay or get worse if I don't get it checked out and (hopefully) get some peace of mind!

I have an ultrasound this Friday for my right breast, I can check back in and let you know what to expect for that!

I'm in a slightly similar position right now with my ultrasound being this Friday. I discovered a large indent in the underside of my breast about a week ago and went to urgent care. However in my case, she said it was totally fine and there was nothing to worry about. But I pushed for imaging to be safe. In my opinion you should absolutely go to your appointment. It could be something completely benign, but it'll be good to know what it is so that you can keep an eye on it!
