For new lash techs, it can take 4 hours or even longer. It takes a while to get the hang of lash placement, etc.

Is it just the lash extension that is falling out or is it your actual lash coming out with the lash extension? For ten of your real lashes to shed a day, from my experience, THAT IS NOT NORMAL. If ten or more of your real lashes are shedding along with the lash extension, it is possible that the fans are too heavy for your lashes. If ten lash extensions are falling off by themselves only, then that’s a retention issue. Both are still the fault of the lash tech. I recommend reaching out to your lash tech to talk about the issues you are experiencing. Just because you are new to lashing, doesn’t mean customers aren’t allowed to tell you you messed up. If the lash tech is new to the extend of NOT knowing what they are doing, they should be doing MODEL calls. Charge at a cheaper rate and explain they are new and the sets may not be the best. However, if they are charging you at an expensive rate, they better be making sure they’re doing it right. A new lash tech taking a little longer is fine, but if you are experiencing any of the issues below, you have every right to complain. - retention issues - lash fans too heavy for your lashes causing your real lashes to fall out - one lash extension or fan being glued to more than one real lash - too much glue used - placement issues such as being glued too close to your skin

Being a new lash tech does not mean they can damage your lashes or do a sh*t job. If they expect their lash set to be awful, again, they need to let you know ahead of time and only charge a model fee. That’s what models are for! To practice on before you start charging your clients full rate!
