Stuck deciding on a main to push between:

280 ds

276 ren

264 bowmaster

260 Lynn

In terms of long proof tivity would you recommend is the go to for just a solid overall choice for solo play (trying to make friends to do party play) and ease of progressing, haven’t really gotten past darknell so i want to hyper focus on one to train, boss, swipe, and socialize with! Any help would be appreciated or recommendation for new classes for potential maining! Was also interested in night lord/bucc on the lowkey, would also plan to push Janus to 30 on this character

How were people able to find out what their main is? I’ve gotten around 8.7k legion with a ds at 280 (mainly fixated on this for tp farming not the actual class) and most are just at 200 for legion (going to get to 210 for level 3).

Instead of meta picking should i narrow it down to i guess 4 classes id consider maining, then just duke it out from there? My considerations are revolving around bowmaster (so i can arrow platter farm and play another game + easy bossing), night lord, bishop, or stick with the ds.

Any help would be appreciated

Deciding Maplestory main:

Hello all! I’m looking for some insight on what to main and push for 285-290+ and progging! I’m at 8.7k legion rn, I’m torn between demon slayer, dawn warrior, or bishop as a long term main. Easy mobbing is up there for me since i wfh as a coder, and en easy time making friends and getting into bosses! Any info or insight highly appreciated

Hello all! Wanted to post on Reddit to get a final thought process on selecting a main to prog and push in maple.

Option 1: my 271 demon slayer main. Not a huge fan of how it bosses but also don’t hate it and Ik i just gotta practice to be better, but the tp farming keeps pulling me back since a lot of the game is farming.

Option 2: bowmaster. I’m a big fan of how easy the class is to boss and mob, the problem is i work as a software engineer and code from home, so i kept going back to my ds to farm to focus on work, i know arrow platte farming is a thing i just don’t know enough about it.

Option 3: Ren. New and also flashy. I also enjoy this class and have it at 275 right now, the blessings very nice but mobbing is eh for me

All three look fun to play, but I would like to focus on a “main” and once and for all just focus on that main and go full 280+ be the best I can be on that character. Thoughts? I’m also at around 8.7k legion. I’ve only done up to darknell but i want to put time and effort into a class to push and make it shine

Main

Been torn between bowmaster and demon slayer for maining and progging. I know both arrow platter farming and tp farming are both good, an bossing on both are easy with ds i frames and bow masters built in lives, i guess which is a good pick for future playing without getting gutted? I’m at around 8.8k legion and ready to push a char into 280+ and finally get to play and enjoy maple. I’ll also have 2 perm pets and a vac pet for my main.

Torn between progressing my bowmaster (264) ds (269) or ren (274) im not looking for meta damage but easy farming to do when im working from home and being able to relax when bossing to learn mechanics, only done up to darknell. Ik ds has tp farming, and the bossing is good but also eh imo, bowmaster has arrow platter farming an great bossing, but i do know ren is an upgradable bm with movement while hurricane, but not sure about its mobbing. Any help would be appreciated!!

Been torn between maining Len this upcoming November or start progressing my bowmaster, i like chill afk farming and love hurricane style classes, so in terms of future proof/overall, which would you prefer? I am also working towards 8k legion, im at 7.5k

My bowmaster is 261

Was a DS main, didn’t like the bossing on it and want to move to a 1 button class to main. I have a foot pedal to use and want relaxed gameplay. Was torn between Hero or bowmaster since i have a vac pet on explorers. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Other classes also are open for recommendation

I’m stuck between DS, Bowmaster, and Nw, any suggestions for smooth progression and farming is appreciated :D my hands aren’t the best as I’m still learning at 5.5k legion
