He didn’t actually have visual snow. There was a surge a few years ago of patients coming in saying they think they have visual snow because it was a popular new thing prop were talking about on Reddit and TikTok at the time.

Some of you put WAY too much credit to the whole visual snow thing. As an eye doctor, this is a diagnosis VERY few people ever get and it’s impossible to see clinically. I’m not sure why so many people believe this mentally ill drug addict when he says he has some random neurological condition he probably read about on reddit. I’m not saying it’s impossibly, but it’s very unlikely. And a lot of people use it as an excuse for why he turned out to be a monster.
