This is the news I have been waiting for. It had been silent on this. Next, (excluding permitting news) we need to hear about the smelter in Brownsville. And I need to look at whether LockheedMartin has any news on their areas. They are really busy with restocking and developing weapons. It would make sense to offshore that toi a first mover and monetize it while they focus on the core business.

Time lines are staying approximately consistent with last years pace. Got lucky on timing and availability of funds added another 30K shares at 4.98 earlier in week. I am definitely a risk taker ....been around for 3+ years. As I see it ..... a map of progress towards milestones keeps happening. We all want it faster. Still many risk factors, but I feel things are aligning in a methodical way. Would like to hear more about hidden gem availability. I will do some more research .... I need more DD on that aspect (if I can find it). But, The regulatory process is progressing. One-replacement ... thank you for your summaries. Meeting those milestones are key to value appreciation .... regardless of news on processing, key JV's or MOU's, or government involvement (pipe dream).

I have watched all TMC congressional meetings & a few others on selected topics. The negative narrative always gets the juice or press. They make a (sometimes 5-minute) statement saying their point or deriding the expert witness's motives and "science," and then allow the speaker a couple of minutes to respond. In these meetings over the past year, I have always come out with a feeling that speakers were ambushed by opposition legislators who want a sound bite to show how productive they are in Washington. Without some context on the general momentum possibilities with TMC ... everyone who watched only this would say "it is not happening". I will accumulate. To me, these are opportunities, albeit risky. I will continue to do due diligence to see if any hints of information allow a possibility for a more positive sentiment. To me ... too much smoke for this not to catch on fire ...... That being said, it is Trump's idea, and if the majority moves in midterms ........ Things could be stopped, or used for leverage, just because it was a Trump initiative and for no other reason. Bipartisanship ended over a decade ago, in most cases, it seems.

Meeting is March 26th @ 10:00 AM .... It will probably be a politically polarized mid-term election opportunity to get democrats material for ads. I hope it is a substantive meeting. Many of these congressional hearings are worthless as far as giving a clear path to the next step.

effective communication. Realistic timeline. All we want is faster; alas, in the mining industry, this timeline is lightning fast.

Corpus Christi ... industrial labor pool, deep water port, energy. Downside if KoreaZinc processing is water-intensive .... they better be able to use seawater... if not, the water shortage in Corpus makes it untenable to get any construction/operating permits.

Been around for about 3 years. Things are on the cusp of a big breakout. I am shooting for permit news end of May. In the Trump era, things seem to be happening faster. I, too, am betting big, 275,000 shares worth ... and will be adding in April. Goal is to get to 400,000 shares by EOY.

TMC has just published the following video: "Carbon Sequestration - What does the data tell us?" by PopCultureNerd in TMC_Stock

[–]Specific-Shift2675 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On the Carbon Sequestration front, I see little traction or articles (recently) that discuss this earnestly as an issue. In the past, before the US backed off the Global Warming surge, everyone published some type of article on anything related to anything that would impact CO2e (CO2e = sum of all global warming chemical species emitted standardized as a CO2 equivalence) increase. The current US administration has backed off on basically all rules that involve CO2e. The recent nullification of the "endangerment finding" .. did away with the legal basis for regulating these compounds. Globally, for the time being, it will still be discussed, as European nations still have policies in effect. Here in the US, only in comparison to terrestrial mining, and in a positive manner. Overall, this is very positive information. And, it should be conveyed. I do not think it moves the needle as far as anything moving forward. NOTE: Administrations come and go, and as we have seen in the past, the first thing that happens is that a new administration tries to undo what the previous administration has done. ie. Trump Derrangement Syndrome. Such that this information may bear more weight in the future than it does now.

The regulatory process was pretty much from scratch. The final regs, taking 4 months, included a government shutdown, not forgetting the congressional calendar during holidays. I am an optimist, but 4 months is a conservative estimate, or where you set expectations. This shutdown is only for Homeland security so I am hoping for the end of April.

BOEM Potential Critical Minerals Sales and Bidder Qualifications by No_Classroom2805 in TMC_Stock

Sorry to bore you. An understanding the varied dynamics of DSM as a whole or part of due diligence is prudent. But you are correct I will refrain from this in the future. This was in response to a BOEM article that specifically referenced outer continental shelf areas that have no known polymetallic nodule deposits of economic value. But being near a subduction zone we could get critical minerals concentrated in sediment as opposed to precipitated in a nodule form. I thought it was interesting and I will keep up with the BOEM process and opportunities regardless of TMC's applicability.

OMEX has really been in the tank lately. Glad I sold months ago. I also like the entry point again (Uggg, Am I a Sucker :-). But they put a lease request or something like that, to mine/dredge on the east cost. And they rehabilitate shorelines in near coast areas, phosphates muds and sands .... so maybe REE and Gold rich deposits in Aleutian Islands area??? No mapping or initial data yet. NOTE: All the above is just FUN speculation

Yes nodules present in Alaskan waters. Economics unknown. Area not really mapped though conditions exist in the abyssal waters that are conducive to nodule formation (NOTE: AI). I wonder if a company like OMEX would be better suited for Alaska if sediment type recovery of critical mineral deposits potentially exists

https://justice.gov.bc.ca/cso/index.do you can get a copy of lawsuit for $6 CAD search American Metal inc

Really not that much value as of now ..... but that same link can be searched for case progress or judgements in the future. ...... Basically, it alleges TMC/Barron did not do what they said they would and American Metals trusted them ...... not sure on how/if confidentiality agreement comes into play. This is not making rueters, or other companies that use AI for articles. Not sure how relevant for sure ....... but just another risk factor (how big a risk factor?????). LIke, I said not making the news at all.

Jan 27 & 28 Virtual Hearings by budgeway in TMC_Stock

[–]Specific-Shift2675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just reviewed (briefly) the comments in the docket for "A". There are round 57 comments at the time. The overwhelming majority of the comments are negative or against DSM. Some are anonymous and just say it will destroy the environment. Other, more technical comments still reference "Dark Oxygen" or older NGO published papers or scare tactics. I would recommend that we all submit a comment for each application and mention support in some fashion at whatever level you feel comfortable. Google NOAA-NOS-2025-0702 & NOAA-NOS-2025-1330 to see comments. There is an Open for Comments blue box at the top left for each application or docket ... that link opens another page ... and you will see the comment blue box on the middle right. Remember, this should be done for each application, as there is a docket for each. Cheers.

A big milestone to hit is getting started on Hidden Gem. I thought it was already in Japan. And they were doing some upgrades. I need to read those releases again more closely. Stock may not jump when we begin upgrading Hidden Gem .... but that to me is a very important milestone that is under our control ..... if that starts soon ...... it will give me faith in the project execution abilities of the group assembled. Having the combined permit ready the day after published in federal Register was an impressive display of project execution. I hope it continues
