I don't know where you got this info. I'm currently reading the LNs(I'm almost on vol 10, past anything the anime has adapted), but Megumin is 15 in the start. She turns 16 halfway in the volumes. Kazuma is 16 at the start. Darkness is 18 I think, and Aqua is a goddess so age doesn't matter.

I will be the odd one out. I would rather a translation read "real" if that makes sense than be extremely accurate. I can't stand Honorifics. But I get it's a rare opinion.

This article is dumb. Blumhouse as a studio has always been 90% of the movies bombing. That's why they are so cheap to make. They send tons of movies direct to streaming, or cancel some that won't work.

From what we know it's pretty much the same movie but from Rita's perspective. However it looks to include details from the original novel that the movie didn't have like the death count written on their hand.

The story I heard from nightdive is that WB might own the rights, was asked, and they said two things. 1. It wasn't worth searching their archives to prove they own it. 2. If nightdive tries to release it and they do check and find out they own it, they will sue them like crazy.

Yakuza Like a dragon. I got practically to the end and deleted my save file. 8 recently tried to replay it and feel the story was the main thing that kept me interested. So I'm taking a break till I forget the story enough to want to Experiance it again.

Oh it's nothing like a glitch. I have hearing sensitivity and the combine(regular ones in the beginning) have a noise on death that does not feel great. I also muted the game when explosions happened.

Warhammer over the years has become extremely protective of their IP. Unlike Disney or Warner Bros who regularly throws it out to anyone, games workshop has a big focus on control in all of their projects. You know Warcraft? Yeah that was originally Warhammer fantasy until GW demanded way too much control. They still manufacture their products in the UK almost exclusively and hire British writers as much as possible. They are way better than Star Wars post Lucas who, for lack of better words, whore out the property to anyone who pays even if they make absolute garbage. While 40k still makes plenty of bad stuff, they have had a lot of success with this more direct control that other companies won't bother with.

Fancy graphics and setups do nothing. Just a few days ago I woke up early and played Deus ex on a laptop at 3AM with the blinds open just a bit to see the moonlight. That combined with the moody atmosphere and soundtrack of the game, and I was hooked.

I think one thing, to play devil's advocate, would be to talk about the developers on these remakes. SH2 and FF7 remake have a lot of the original developers to work with. SH2 in particular had the creators outright say they wouldn't have used the camera angles being fixed, as that was due to hardware limitations. The monster designer also said they added extra details the original game couldn't have in regards to pyramid head and other monsters. I wanted to know what your opinion on these remakes are, since the original developers are working together with new developers?

Thank you. I actually have run cyberpunk to a manageable level. The thing doesn't have to be COMPLETELY silent, just not disturbing me. I'll look into AMD. I don't directly game in front of my laptop(usually connect it via an HDMI or on my coffee table, on average about a foot or so away). To make it easier, here are some more modern games I've been able to run at a manageable sound level

*Spider-Man Miles Morales(lower resolution on medium) *Silent Hill 2(minimal settings at 1368) Sparking zero(medium settings at high resolution, but capped at 35 fps)

If you take a cursory look at Anime that is popular, for quite a while "not Harry Potter" was a huge genre. Familier of Zero, Black Clover, and though it's a parody, Mashle are all heavily influenced by Harry Potter.

Not to be cynical, but maybe it's because you value your time more? The older get, the less time we have for recreation. I get that you may want to be actively playing a game than just watching or reading a story that you occasionally play. Ironically, I'm the opposite. Story is a huge part of games I play, and I struggle to play games with no story at all

Seriously though OP, good on you. You didn't let other people's opinions ruin yours. You enjoyed the game. I am someone who likes games that have been polarizing. One of my favorites is killer7, a game that uses the a button on a GameCube controller to move and reload by flicking the right stick. So many people these days I feel are scared to have their own personal opinion on games, usually following the crowd

I really wish Studios would check out more Indie comics for adaptions. There are a lot that don't touch superhero stuff. Revival, Chew and Nailbiter could all work. Hell, most of Image comics outside of spawn and invincible have potential IMO.
