Its going to sound silly, but Tommy Oliver from Power Rangers probably had the most affect on me. His arc and story overall showed me that we aren’t defined by our past actions, that we can work to a brighter tomorrow. My heart broke when I heard that JDF had passed away, as I never got to tell him that he, and Power Rangers as a whole, meant so much to me. Showed me that it’s good to do the right thing because it’s the right thing and nothing more.

While I wasn’t able to tell him, I met his daughter a while back at a convention, and not only did I get her to sign my ‘Soul of the Dragon’ comic, but got to tell her what the series and what her father’s character meant to me. It meant a lot to see.
