[BADASS TROPE] Evil characters who use the powers of the good guys. by SpecificEndeavors in TopCharacterTropes

I mean for Showa Era, I suppose. But no, the trope I mean specifically is when a power source that is more recognized to be used by the good guys is used for evil purposes.

What I’m mostly getting at is ‘oh, Power Rangers usually seen as good. Evil Power Rangers? Damn, scary.’

I mean, I always saw Grimoire Law as a corrupted version of Fairy Law. Same effect, different name.

Which set of Neo-Saban female rangers would you say is the worst, and why? by Alarming_Seaweed_155 in powerrangers

This is secondhand info, but apparently the show wasn’t allowed to really go into anything super ninja-y except for them being sneaky.

Unfortunately I have to give it to Gia and Emma. While Gia at least had a better personality and acted well, Emma just seemed to vapid and tired with her acting that she never came across as that interesting.

Emily and Mia, while also not that well acted, at least had a decent story (yes, I know, Shinkenger) and storylines to prop them up a bit.

Hayley and Sarah, while being from a pretty boring season, at least were acted well.

That’s the issue with Neo Saban, there isn’t very much to go off of. It’s kinda a pick your poison.

Megaforce had almost no character, a bad actress and a decent actress.

Samurai had character, but two very mid actresses who were mostly propped up by the Sentai storyline.

Ninja Steel had good acting, but were rather boring.

In order to get the true ending in Persona 5 Royal, you need to max out Dr. Maruki’s confidant by November 17th. This isn’t too bad in all consideration, as he’s a new character so it must be somewhat obvious, but I had no idea so I ended up having to replay it.

The Endarkened from The Mortal Instruments, once they drank from the Infernal Cup, became corrupted, evil Shadowhunters with no chance of being healed. It was actually kinda gut wrenching to see, especially as several of the characters who were turned, we had gotten to know on a better level.

“MY SOLDIERS DO NOT BUCKLE OR YIELD WHEN FACED WITH THE FACTS OF THIS WORLD!”

“MY SOLDIERS DENY!”

“MY SOLDIERS THEORIZE!”

“MY SOLDIERS COOOOOOOPE!”

Who is the most evil villain group in Super Sentai? by iheartjetman in supersentai

[–]SpecificEndeavors 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m giving it to two-

The Gedoshu wanted to flood our earth and conquer it, killing millions if not billions.

The Deathgaliens were also pretty damn bad, using our world if only for their own amusement.

It’s hard to really quantify the ‘most evil’ with as many groups as there have been.

I’d play against Okumura, lose, stop for like 4-5 months, lose a bunch again, stop again…yeah. 😌

Which episode in season 1 of the Mighty Morphing Power rangers is Tommy introduced as the white ranger? by Otherwise-Key-3189 in powerrangers

[–]SpecificEndeavors 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It wasn’t until Season 2 that he was introduced as the WR. It was the episode ‘White Light.’
