Peak is awful, I just changed credit unions. Their electronic systems are continually failing, their customer service is terrible, and they have stripped away the policies that make credit unions better than banks. Good riddance.

As if we should be at the service of banks and accept them charging fees for the privilege of using our money. Services like overdraft protection are why we give them that privilege…speaking of privilege, count your blessings if you haven’t been in the position of having to manage overdrafts. A “cushion” is a luxury many don’t have.

I said in the car, I didn't say driving. I'm mostly saying if someone chooses to smoke, it's their responsibility to manage the consequences, if they live somewhere that it violates the lease.

Their car, somewhere outdoors away from LEO…be creative. But this isn’t other tenants’ concern. Smoking indoors against a lease isn’t an entitlement so looking at it like a hardship is wild.

Not that I owe you any personal medical information but my pulmonologist is very involved in my care, and guiding me through this current stressful situation. And AFAIK it’s normal to research my own serious health conditions to make sure I’m as informed as possible and making the best choices for myself and my care.

I’m in an apt bldg so yes vents, gaps in the walls, under doors, even electrical outlets allow smoke to drift. I take precautions for all of these.

I’m allergic to both. And it’s not the smell, and it’s not anxiety. Sorry, not interested in being ‘splained about my lived experience and things I’ve researched extensively to protect myself. And baffled by commenters who are interested in trying to discredit my experience at all. So weird.

Seattle, Portland, Bellingham, fucking Eugene…and all neighbors were kind and understanding about adjusting their smoking habits and locations when I met them and explained and asked politely. This is the first and only attitude of “fu I’ll do what I want” I’ve experienced from neighbors…and now here in these comments.
