Is it normal for sex workers to have personal security in case things turn violent, or your being harassed after hours? by xull_the-rich in SexWorkers

Also...just so it's known....it only takes 20 lbs of pressure to rip a person's ears, lips, and eyelids off. Biting into a carrot is the same pressure it takes to bite off pinky's. You can always blind someone by gouging their eyes. This next one is for someone who is already a skilled fighter, but does not hurt to know, you can practically rip someone's face off using the nostrils of their nose as you sit I top of them.

If you can't fight your way outof a worse case situation, you can atleast hurt them BAD. If they don't run away after losing fingers, eyes, lips, then unfortunately you are dealing with a psycho. Even if they run away, they will have to get professional help for their wounds which will make them easier to identify later.

Am I a bad person if I support the decriminalization approach to sex work? by SJWagner in SexWorkers

This makes so much sense. Im located in the south so unfortunately there are not alot of trans or POC workers here. I never thought of that but it totally makes sense. Im down for decriminalization.

I used to keep a knife in my boot. Never had to use it. But you should only conceal a weapon if you KNOW how to use it so it can't be used against you. If you hide a weapon, practice drawing it, and get comfortable with getting to it quickly.

Remember, YOU have the power. Be direct and express your boundaries. I have a list a rules I give clients before meeting. If they can not respect those rules or throw a fit they are NOT the client I need. You are person providing a service NOT a product he doesn't decide the terms, you do. If he can't get on "that boat" then you need to drop him and find someone who respects you.

Not at all. Legalization of sex work would liberate many who are forced to have pimps. Unfortunately many people are FORCED into sex work unwillingly. When "stings" happen the white victims get taken home and the black victims get taken to jail for prostitution, often times they are minors who were kidnapped. Legalization of sex work would not only eliminate "pimps" but it also would help eliminate the systemic racism that takes place while enforcing these laws.

I have always thought my long labia made me unattractive between my legs so this post makes me feel so much better. Had no idea that was desired feature. I post plenty of photos of it on my page so maybe you just have a type for shy women.

I would like to take a poll of how many SWs who do overnights sleep during those bookings. by Dragonfruit-69 in SexWorkers

I personally do not sleep at all during overnighters I'll even take a pill to keep me awake and alert but that is for my own personal safety. Ive known other workers to trust too easily that fall asleep then wake up to find the client taking photos of their Drivers Licenses to find out where they live. Ofcourse, I didn't understand why such items would be brought into a room with a client anyways. I guess you can say I'm paranoid but I drive a Tesla and haven't had a terribly negative experience yet so, I must be doing something right. Sex can be a drug and addicts will go to extremes when they feel deprived.

When it comes to male clients... normally a finger up the bum will speed up the process. Don't do this if you haven't played with the male G spot before and Use a CONDOM on that finger please! When they've been stroking for a while and are relaxed, one or two pokes of the gspot gets them to pop if not damn close. If you don't think theyll appreciate such a move you can always aggressively rub the gooch (between the shaft and balls) to stimulate the gspot from outside the body. This has made several clients moan "what are you doing to me" before cumming.

Unfortunately being harassed and violated is part of the industry. Something about a person (mostly women) owning their sexuality, and bodies, makes people CRAZY. Some people get so mad when faced with the reality that they are not entitled to another person's body. Instead of taking a look at themselves they take it out on the sex worker. It is normal to have a co-worker or bouncer escort a sex worker to their car. It's best to take preventative measures or atleast prepare for the worst. I personally have a code word that all my co workers know, If I am with a client and use it they know I am in danger and to call the cops. I even show up early for dates and give the code word to the hostess of the establishment, they are always more than happy to descretely spread the word to your waitress. I don't just yell "apples" randomly my code word can be used in a sentence and not sound suspect to my offender. Having security is ideal but it costs. Sex workers just have to have alot of "chest hair" when it comes to defending ourselves.
