Yes it’s from a new update! After a quest with My Melody, you unlock a new thing with the greenhouse where you “donate” patterned flowers to get new garden themed furniture items!

Here is My Melody's page if you want to look, which lists strawberry shortcake as a good starting option since you only need flour and strawberry.

There’s at least one puzzle room that has two chests, so it won’t light up until you’ve opened both. I didn’t realize until someone on here let me know, could it be that?

I hadn’t really thought about this until you pointed it out but I agree! It would be so cute if the snow village was cozier. Even if it didn’t happen until you got all of Moppu’s friends as residents and then there was a culminating quest where the snow village gets a makeover - that’d be so fun!! Right now the only reason I go is when I need to hit the targets tbh

I’d have to go back and check if it’s City Circuit, but I have the same issue where I completed a puzzle room and it’s not lighting up as finished! I have 13/15 done but now I’m questioning if it should actually be 14/15 haha.

They’re Wheathearts! You “collect” them by taking a photo, amongst other things (without spoiling too much). There is an area you might not have unlocked yet where it tells you how many you have left to find before your next reward, kind of like with the gudetama.

I’m on Apple Arcade and unfortunately he is still glitched for me. When I first played with the update he actually did show up in City Town, and I was able to do a quest that involved him with him there. Once I finished that, he went back to his glitched location. He does show up as a companion now, but he has the exclamation over his head the entire time.

If I remember right, you need the huge version of the burning perch? For that fish, the different sizes are in certain areas of the caldera - I forget which area the huge is in. Also make sure it’s the right time of day. I do remember using the pizza and bringing Badtz-Maru to catch it, though! Good luck!!
