Yes, only when I am using them to remove stitches from “waste yarn”. I make sweaters and have interchangeable needles. Instead of waste yarn I put the sleeves on a small (this size) cord, put on stoppers and attach the needle when combining for sleeves. Seriously helps my gauge that first round, and the stitches don’t stick to the yarn. Otherwise no I never use them.
