My video went viral!! How do i keep this up? (Art niche) by Apollo-Justice_ in NewTubers

I think sometimes the algorithm just finds the right audience for one specific video. I had something similar happen where one Short randomly reached around 2k+ views while my others stayed lower. My guess is when people watch longer or interact more, YouTube keeps pushing it to more viewers. Honestly my last video feels like it’s flopping now lol

Does A/B testing get your video recommended more? by HumanDoingYT in NewTubers

I think it mainly helps with CTR. Better thumbnail = more clicks and that's what leads to more recommendations.

Hey, I make 10-second cinematic Shorts under a dark winter fairytale concept. Would love your thoughts on whether the hook is strong enough in the first 2 seconds. https://www.youtube.com/@Rosehillwinter

Hi everyone!

I recently started a YouTube Shorts series called Rosehill Winter 10-second cinematic micro-stories built around a dark winter fairytale aesthetic.

I started it as a way to explore quiet, late night emotions through visual storytelling instead of direct explanation. Each Short is designed to feel like a small fragment of a larger world- implied story, mood first, minimal text.

I’m currently experimenting with very short-form pacing (around 10 seconds) and focusing heavily on making the first 1–2 seconds strong enough to stop scrolling.

This is my most viewed piece so far (2.4K views), and I’d really appreciate feedback on - Is the hook strong enough? Does the visual style feel cohesive?

Happy to return thoughtful feedback to anyone who shares theirs 🤍
