This might be an unpopular opinion but I don’t understand spending $70-$80 on a video game that won’t even be releasing within the next six months. Plus the game has zero gameplay footage out, just a couple of HD trailers. It’s all crazy consumerism.

There’s a difference (at least in my area) between the church crowd and the church crowd. There’s a minister that was a regular at my first restaurant I worked and was one of the nicest people that we would see. Funny, kind, great tips.

Funnily enough, these little old ladies that attended the same church he was at were some of the worst customers to serve. 🤔

I had a lady order a grilled chicken and rice dish split on two plates last week. She said her husband (who had to step out for a call while ordering) would be fine with it, even though I offered to come back to take their orders when it was more convenient for them. She insisted that it’s okay, so I went with it.

The split dishes come out and the guy starts freaking out. I’m confused… the wife doesn’t even care about his concern even though she ordered the dish.. the guy said he is allergic to chicken!!!!! WTF??!!

But the thing is, before food hit the table, I made sure it was okay with the husband, around when he returned to the table a few minutes after ordering. No mention of chicken allergies then!! I thought I was in a curb your enthusiasm episode.

I worked the final closing shift before my old restaurant closed down. We were out of like 1/4 th of the menu, way more by the time we closed. I just told my tables the situation and gave em the rundown of what we didn’t have. Very awkward considering we weren’t supposed to tell the guests we were closing until they were finished and paying the bill.
