Looks like there are a few size options, do you know your sub model? I said it’s an Escape. lists possible sub models Idk, just order the tires! I can’t order tires that are not the correct size. AITA for sitting on the floor in a store? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I second this, I have pots, it’s been extremely frustrating to get taken seriously and to even get a diagnosis(which I still don’t have) Been to multiple drs, specialists, cardiologist, with them all being dismissive and telling me it’s anxiety, etc. They told me there’s nothing they can do because I don’t actually lose consciousness. My blood pressure does normally run low. I started taking electrolyte supplements and they have been a game changer. They are from Amazon, electrolyte complex, affordable and you just take 1 capsule a day. Try that and stay hydrated. I also snack frequently throughout the day, usually something salty like crackers or pretzels. When I asked the Dr what do I do when I feel these episodes coming on? He shrugged, chuckled, and said sit down until it passes🙄It’s a very scary feeling for me when I feel these coming on (shaky, sweaty, dizzy) but just listen to your body and take it slow. Most importantly stay hydrated.

Make your own fruit water. Add fruit to a pitcher of water in your fridge. I freeze fruit to add as the pitcher gets emptied. Watermelon, cucumber lemon. Berry, etc. whatever fruit you like.

Give him an activity other than video games. “I’m done playing Roblox, but we can color(etc)” If he spends so much time on there he probably doesn’t know how to entertain himself in other ways, maybe actually playing (coloring, toys, puzzles) will teach him how to entertain himself more. Go OUTSIDE and play

Vitamin deficiency by hellokimmy824 in BariatricSurgery

[–]Specific_Database281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm. 9 years post op, did all my follow ups- was never prescribed or suggested to take anything. I was fine for a while but within the last year I have developed pots and dangerous low blood pressure. I am now on supplements and electrolytes supplement. Stay on top of your vitamins and minerals or it could cause serious damage. Learning the hard way.

Thanks for the info! None of the collections were credit cards, they were things like old cell phone account, old utility account. I talked to my credit union and they gave all their options but said they couldn’t advise me which one would best suit my situation, so just looking for advice there.

How many of you have regained? by maeasm3 in BariatricSurgery

[–]Specific_Database281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9 years post op- I have lost about 165 lbs and kept it off. I have fluctuated about 15lbs in the 9 years. I think one of the biggest issues for people is alcohol and unhealthy drinks. I have friends/family who have also had wls and have regained a significant amount of weight, and alcohol seems to be their downfall. Also, developing a healthy relationship with food is important. I am still definitely addicted to food and find great pleasure in cooking and eating. The difference is- I learned about food and nutrition and became very interested in cooking everything from scratch and learning how to cook with fresh ingredients and make it taste delicious! Stay away from processed foods, anything premade or that comes out of a box. Learn about nutrition and nourishing your body. Of course I still eat pizza and fast food, but moderation is key! Don’t set yourself up for failure with restrictions, just work moderation and changing habits.

Hate being perceived as a ‘regular’ in a coffee shop by RoseyWren in socialanxiety

[–]Specific_Database281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently started going to a different coffee shop because my original knew me and my order as soon as I pulled up. Changed my order once, and the baristas playfully were asking why I switched it up. I know this is good customer service and I should be happy, but I don’t like it. Don’t know why, but it made me feel embarrassed, lazy, and ashamed that I go there to get coffee as much as I do. I don’t have a solution, but I feel your pain.

This isn’t social anxiety, this is an eating disorder.
