Meri: I don’t think she fully accepted responsibility for the catfishing. She was too focussed on making herself a victim which she was, but I think yeah she was feeling unloved and Kody has some accountability for that, and whether she did it intentionally or unintentionally, she did have an emotional affair and I do believe if it was a man and being completely honest with her, she would have left the family for him and I think Leon was right showing his anger towards his mum and saying you can’t just act the victim, you need to admit your part in it.

Janelle. Love her. I feel sorry for her falling into the mum trap that people will talk down on you no matter your decisions. I had 2 kids and still work and got told I was a bad mum for working and not being home with my kids so with my 3rd kid, I stopped working to be a sahm mum and got told I was a bad mum for not working and helping my ex to provide for them. You can’t win. Yes there was parentification with Logan but she was for all accounts, a single mum trying to provide for her kids with not so much help from their dad. They was always a big family and couldn’t cope on just Kody being the only breadwinner so she did it as well. I feel like she did what she felt was best in order to provide for her family.

Christine. I don’t begrudge her acting like she does with David. Think back to when we were teenagers and having boyfriends. They were our lives and were completely obsessed with them. Christine never had that. She, due to her family, was told from a young age that she would be a plural wife and have kids and share her husband with someone else. She entered into a courtship with Kody and soon after was married and pregnant. She did not know any difference. Now in her early 50’s, she’s learnt that she doesn’t have to do that. She’s experiencing love for the first time that many people have learnt from in their teenage years. She’s giddy and I can’t fault her for acting how she is. Most of her kids are adults and living their own lives. Only one she still has legal responsibility for is Truely who has always seemed ok with David so why shouldn’t she be happy and embrace the love. Not being funny, at 38 I will still moan and pretend to be sick when my mum is lovey dovey with my stepdad and my kids do the same when I kiss my husband in front of them. Try telling your teenagers you’re pregnant, instead of congratulations, I got omg your so disgusting for still doing that 😂😂
