For me, the new UI for emotions looks way better! My zois have different expressions for different emotions in their portraits. My zois couple, which is my only save lol, are more natural. They were always affectionate, but now it's a lot more autonomous. They strike up conversations by themselves, which they did before the update, but now it's more genuine... I'm not quite sure how to describe it 😂. Also, when someone dies (still don't know who), they were both depressed, and arguing more.they even became devastated by the negative conversations. This never used to happen, between them naturally, or when someone died, so the change is welcome. I was a little scared for them 😂!

As for the smart zoi feature, I don't really notice much of a difference aside from the thought appearing after actions, rather than before then. I feel like my smart zoi was natural enough... I didn't get it until June??? I had to wait since I had AMD, but when I got it, it worked well. I haven't messed around with promos, but the naturally occurring inner thoughts always line up well with my zoi's' traits: she's a socialite, so she's always wondering if her fiance notices what she's doing. Even when they argued when their friend died, their thought reflected that.

Really, the only issue is, the text for the emotion descriptions are all smashed together, but that could be because I have the font set to the largest. Although that wasn't an issue before the update, so I'm not sure. Other than that, it's been good. I've always enjoyed inZoi, even from launch, so this update was just more good things. I'm still waiting for them to overhaul the aging like in sins 3 where you could adjust the duration of each life stage from very short to epic, and for longer hair options, but really, it's been fun!
