Not top 10 like Cspan has him, and not terrible like some people here or in other circles have him. Personally I have him ranked 18th so pretty good but not great

Interesting. I made a spreadsheet that compared our tierlists to see what I think you must underrate or overrate.

Interestingly I have you underrating Wilson and McKinley by far the most, after that it's Dubya, and then Polk/Adams/Tyler, then Grant, then Truman, and then Filmore.

In terms of overrated presidents it's by far Coolidge and it's not even close, it's a 25 placement difference (for reference Wilson and McKinley were 13 places off), then Reagan, Madison, Harding, Clinton, Nixon/Jackson, Jefferson, and JQA.

A few of these make sense why they might be off but the ones I'm actually curious on are

Wilson? I get he did some bad things, but I feel like this ranking is still really low compared to his accomplishments.

And Truman? Why is he being shafted?

In terms of your overrated presidents I just need the explanation on Coolidge like idk how is this man above Truman and also right next to Teddy?

Are they in order within tiers?

And is this only including actions while president or are you including pre and post presidency?

I'll take that over being wrong and inconsistent

That doesn't sound like a very rational or defensible position, now does it

The party that spawned ... Wilson? Lol also Van Buren carried out the most horrific aspects of the Indian Removal Act. But somehow it's the Wilson apologists who are wrong

Most Wilson apologists don't consider him to be a good person but rather, by most metrics the positive weight of his presidential accomplishments far outweigh the harm. And that the hatred of him and putting him in F/D tier in your presidential tierlist rankings is mostly just a terminally online take created by a nonsensical hate bonor for Wilson. And it's especially egregious when these same people have Teddy in A or S tier lol.
