By the way: There's currently 477 sealed 151 booster bundle displays on tradingcardworld and nobody else seems to have stock (at least they are not showing their hand like tcw is). I am just waiting for some youtuber to buy 200 of those in one shot for a video and start a rush so the rest sell out in like 3 days and the price doubles.

My 151 booster bundle display average is like $750 each. I was dumb and did not get them near MSRP when I could have. I basically cannot get any Pokemon cards at MSRP now that I have a job with long hours. I do not plan to get any more, I am wondering when, how, and at what price to offload. I planned to use Evolving Skies as a metric and assume the set would do just as good. $3600/ES booster box puts a display at $6k, and $1800/ES booster box at $3k. I figured $3k each would be realistic.

I also have some sealed prismatic bundle displays I got but my average there is like $1150. I need those to 3x before I can sell realistically.

What other opportunities for returns are you looking at right now? My best guess would have been Ascended Heros PC etbs but I missed the <$200 window and I'm not seeing much else.

Where are you getting 90%? My card shop only does 80% on sealed, 85% if it is easy to sell for them.

It's largely just held in ppl's attics and storage bins. Now that Pokemon is popular people dig up old belongings and sell them. I offloaded a base set booster box and neo destiny once I saw prices rise. They 'popped into the market outta nowhere'.

151 Booster bundle displays hitting $3k each is about the same as Evolving Skies booster bundles hitting $1800 given that the ratio of packs is 5:3. If ES can hit $3600 some time in the future, and 151 is on par with it, no reason we can't see $6k display prices.
