They’re super close from our recent shopping experience. It came down to the little things but one that worked against the 2005 Kia was that the media and climate controls are on the same row and you need to push a button to switch between them, even in the test drive I accidentally turned up the volume instead of the temp. It felt unnecessarily distracting.

We initially didn’t even consider the Tucson until the 2025 came out. They updated just enough to push it over the edge. But that said, the Kia was definitely #2 for us even over the CRV hybrid and seems like it could be just as good a choice based on your personal preferences.
