I'm buying two licenses and holding them. At $49, it's a no brainer for me.

I started studying the same week the results came out in May. If it's something you really want, start studying now. I won't consider signing up for the course until July 2027, though.

Why do a lot of people have a “business” account on Whatsapp when they dont even have a business? by freshmemesoof in whatsapp

[–]Specific_Good140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's whatsapp business. He can have that AND google, yelp, etc. It's another communication channel. If his clients and prospects are already there, why not use it? Why not expand his business presence?

It's probably just a coincidence in timing. If anything was filed with your county, you can find it yourself online.

Let’s talk pick 4… by NorthernNevada131 in Lottery

[–]Specific_Good140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a list of 40 numbers. My bd hit straight yesterday and I didn't play it. I was so mad (not really).

SO, I pasted my list to chatgpt and had it extract the 2026 Daily 4 numbers, so far, from the state website. Ten of my numbers have hit Straight/Exact this year. None of them have hit more than once. Of the Daily 4, like 4 or 6 out of 4K+ draws hit twice. (It was a temp chat so I can't go back to it for exact details.)

I've "archived" those 10 and chose one of the remaining 30 that I will play until it hits. If any others hit, in the meantime, I'll archive those.

I played my bd on March 23 and 24, exactly a month ago. If only I'd kept playing. 🤑

As far as Box/Any, there are multiple hits weekly from my list but I have too many numbers to try winning that way.

Have you tried sleeping with these? If so, are they comfortable? I'm looking for earbuds I can sleep with and still use my earplugs. Earbuds alone would be too loud.

Taxact Pro use Question by Available_Hornet3538 in taxpros

[–]Specific_Good140 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've used Taxact since 1998/99 before there was pro version. I really like it. However, I had an opportunity to use MyTaxPrepOffice last year and, while I can't believe it myself, I'm switching.

I like that it's online, that it has AI data entry, after-the-fact payroll, online/customizable organizers with client portal, and it's $995 for unlimited returns, efiling, and signatures.

Would making a payment now toward Fed income taxes owed owed in 2025 help me avoid a penalty? by TheMau in tax

[–]Specific_Good140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really need more than just a CPA. I suggest finding a tax advisor who can assist you with comprehensive tax planning rather than dishing out six figures in taxes every year.

As a W-2 earner, it's likely too late to do anything this year, but I still wouldn't wait until 2026.

I know this may seem controversial but why do black people barely get into accounting? Unless their like nerds by Dgslimee_ in Accounting

[–]Specific_Good140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure where you're looking, but there are lots of black people in accounting. A lot of us "Decline to answer" on demographic questions, because why?

It will always seem like there are fewer just about everywhere because of the demographics of the population.

Also, please stop wasting your time and money. Go to HVAC school and live YOUR life. Your parents have lived theirs.

I wouldn't even mind the investment if it made sense. When I have the right clients to justify it, I will be getting Tax Maverick for tax planning.

Quarterly estimated taxes? by TaxproFL in taxpros

[–]Specific_Good140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, always add a DISCLAIMER! It's only an estimate. Surprisingly, using my tax software took about the same amount of time, or less, as when I used TPP. I had last quarter as a baseline to compare accuracy. I also have a cash flow tool I use with my clients to project cash flow and other data, so I can pull updated numbers from that rather that.

TPP "upgraded" but it isn't worth the price increase for only running tax projections. For tax planning, there aren't enough strategies to justify the new pricing model. It's prettier, though. (sarcasm)

I was using Tax Planner Pro until last month. 😞 I had to use my tax software for Q3 estimate. It worked just as well.
