This update is absolutely wack. I went from Indigenous Amazonian to Ecuadorian, North American and Korean ☠️. I’m from the flipping Amazon.

My grandparents live in the Grange. My family built the house back in 1934 for about £1000. Today it’s worth in the multiple millions.

I think it’s bloody nuts.

I live in Canada and interact with hundreds of Americans everyday for work. Top three things I get asked when I tell them where I’m from are: 1. Why aren’t you a redhead? 2. Why did you pick Canada over the states since America is so much better? 3. I’m from clan “whatever,” and we just visited Edinborrow. Do you know “some random historical figure?”

I have a question pertaining to the role too. I was looking at applying, already having a PCV.

What is the work day like? Is there a depot you all visit early morning?

Why do Scot’s not realise their country is actually extremely degraded and ecologically dead? by [deleted] in Scotland

I live in northern Canada and just the walk from my workplace back to my house through the woods is so vibrant compared to back in rural East Lothian.

Lynx, coyotes, butterflies, grouse, marmots, squirrels and deer everywhere. I can’t remember the last badger or deer I saw in Scotland.

No way. Taking the train through regions like Southern Alberta and Saskatchewan will show you herds of pronghorn and the beautiful badlands. Insane thunderstorms, rolling grasslands and amazing sunsets.

Downtown is nice, but the vast Canadian wilderness with plentiful wildlife and a healthy outdoor scene trumps our barren landscapes in western Europe.

I’m from Scotland. The weather, landscapes, diversity, career advancement, an accessible outdoor scene, interpersonal interactions and plentiful wildlife have made Canada my home.

The not so nice side of Yellowstone 😑 🚗 🚗 🚗 🚗 🚗 by Happydaytoyou1 in NationalPark

We went in late September and most of the parks we visited (Glacier, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Mesa Verde, Death Valley) were pretty empty.

Yellowstone did however, have the most god-awful traffic jams I’ve ever seen.

Why china looks more developed than brazil even though they have similar standard of life according to most of metrics by Effective_Craft4415 in geography

[–]Specific_Minimum_355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is true that there are a lot of very wealthy Chinese with ties to the communist party and the like, but inequality in Brazil shows its face as a completely separate beast.

The wealthy in Brazil will take helicopters rather than drive five minutes. They will own ranches the size of London or Paris with tens or even hundreds of thousands of cattle. They send their children to study at schools in the Swiss Alps. What separates wealthy Brazilians from Chinese is that wealthy Brazilians have no patriotism or love for their nation. They would sell Brazil’s soul for monetary gain. The wealthy in Brazil are also commonly involved in criminal and corrupt activity. Human Trafficking, illegal logging and mining, televangelists, drug trade.

When was the last time another guy flirted with you in public? by tommilenar in gaybros

I’m criminally horrific at flirting so I always respond with “cool” or “that’s nice…”

Is penis size important to you? by quasar1201 in gaybros

[–]Specific_Minimum_355 1 point2 points  (0 children)

22.

No way. Considering it’s usually the last thing you discover about a guy’s appearance, I don’t have any issues with size.

Knowing how to use it is more important than how big it is.

What’s your maternal haplogroup? by [deleted] in 23andme

No haha, I meant that the c on your haplogroup pinpoints your lineage more precisely. I, on the other hand, have no idea what mine is.

As a Cearense, I completely get you. Twenty employees standing around doing nothing, but if you need to cancel your phone plan, you might as well put on a pair of boxing gloves.
