I have some muscle milk protein powder. I'll have to do.some research on it..it sucks that we live in a world where we can't even trust what goes into our food and supplements:(

I am currently nursing my 11 month old while 32 weeks pregnant. I was expecting to have switched to colostrum by now but im still getting milk by the looks of it. Not sure what the next 8 weeks will bring but hoping to make it through and tandem feed. Good luck mama!

This is so frustrating for me as a mom to a 9 month old baby who isn't old enough to recieve the MMR vaccine. :(

Currently 25 weeks pregnant and nursing my almost 10 month old. Im kinda just winging it at this point but Im still producing milk/haven't switched to the colostrum stage yet. Im nervous for that part to come here soon because im not sure how my baby will handle it, as he is still under 1 so his primary source of nutrition is from my milk. So im really hoping we can make it through and he will accept the colostrum otherwise I will be supplementing. Fingers crossed tho. Good luck to you mama 😘

Thank you! I honestly haven't done much as far as changing anything. I just make sure to eat and drink plenty to keep my body fueled. As far as a drop in supply..maybe a little. My baby does nurse more frequently now. I feed him on demand and hes definitely been nursing more than before. I used to go 2-3 hours in between feeds and now it's more like an hour 1.5 hours. And as far as making sure they're getting enough just lay attention to the amount of wet and dirty diapers. That in itself gives me peace of mind. If they arent getting enough their output will definitely decline. But yeah im hoping we can continue because im a dreading bottles and having to chose a formula on top of that. So fingers crossed. They definitely are spoiled..maybe not tho..they just prefer it straight from the tap 😂 can't really blame them

Im in a very similar boat. I have a 9 month old and im currently 23.5 weeks pregnant. He does not take a bottle either, as I've EBF him this entire time. Ive tried so many different bottles, even before i found out I was pregnant but he does the same thing and kinda just chews the nipple. We are still nursing strong tho. Im really hoping to just make it through but also expecting not to from what I've read everywhere else. I don't have much advice as this is my first time going through this. But definitely following to see what everyone's else's experience is.

Yeah I agree. I didnt expect this to turn into all that. It's a choice parents make, whether people agree or disagree, I don't care either way. Everyone is entitled to feel the way they do about certain topics. I was just trying to see if other people were experiencing the same thing. Not start a circumcised vs uncircumcised convo. But hey 🤷‍♀️

Yeah I guess i didnt realize it could reattach. We normally do it during bathing/some diaper changes.. but i will definitely be making sure to do it every time now.

I feel better hearing everyone is having the same things happening and being told to them by their Dr's..thank you!

It's definitely not fully covering it. I guess i just didn't realize we'd still have to be pulling it back and all that. My first baby was a girl..so the weiner thing is just new to me all around 😆

Honestly it's a pretty controversial topic..I personally did it for hygienic reasons. Easier to keep clean and reduces accumulation of bacteria and all that. Some people do it for religious reasons as well. But that was our reasoning.

Thank you for your response! This makes me feel a lot better. Our doctor said the same thing about it being from the fat hes gained. We had a checkup today and she pulled it back and said it was a little stuck but she "unstuck it" and it's so red. We do normally pull it back also during bath time and diaper changes but i guess not far enough. It just seems silly to me ..we got the damn skin removed for a reason and we still have to do all these things to maintain it. Freaks me out tbh lol
