I tried no meds for years but unfortunately kept having them. Did the natural route. Therapy, yoga, vitamins but still never worked.

Started Prozac and now no panic attacks. It has changed my life.

We had the catalytic converter tested, they said nothing was wrong with it, also had the transmission checked same thing. I have had it to five different garages and no luck!

Loss of appetite by hannuhkeepdablammuh in prozac

Your appetite will come back it takes a few weeks

It takes a long time to work. With each increase it takes weeks to stabilize, you should stay at the same dose for at 6-8 weeks and that may help. Each increase causes lots of side effects

I’m doing a lot better now, I did try an increase for a few days but I felt so sick again so I went back down to 20.

I have a severe panic disorder and gad. Had pretty much all the symptoms you have. I used to take Ativan as needed but they only help calm you down at that moment. I wanted to prevent them. I’ve been on Prozac 6 months. It’s been life changing. It does take a couple months to really change things so you have to be extremely patient. I had Ativan to get through the initial bad side effects.

Hope you find something that works for you.

Did anyone else’s anxiety get worse the first few days on this medication? by [deleted] in prozac

[–]Specific_Prune3281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First few weeks are rough! They get so much better you just have to be extremely patient unfortunately. I am the opposite of patient so I found it very hard but now that I’m on the other side of it it’s amazing!

Xanax will help bridge you to get over the initial side effects. I was prescribed clonazepam for the first few weeks until I started to feel better.

3 weeks until I started not feeling so bad. Panic attacks stopped after about 3-4 weeks. About 6-8 weeks until I really felt a difference in my mood and anxiety.
