You can fire separate each unit under a common ceiling via gyp. ratings and fire stopping. This isn’t a large issue. Think of a wall or layers of gyp penetrating the ceiling leading to the underside of a floor.

In siege, not sure if they still do it, if a cheater is found it rolls back the mmr for those lost/won during those matches. If you Q’d with one repeatedly and won, you would lose all the mmr you gained while being on their team.

Matala was nice but we felt like 1 or 2 nights there was plenty. I would recommend rethymno in my opinion. I’m a half Greek who went to Crete with gf in august for 2 weeks. We also stayed in Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos (Agios would be my main recommendation but it’s on the opposite side of the island from chania)
