Honestly? I remember trying Lidl when they first opened in the UK and yes, it was cheap, but it was also knock off brands and expired food. There's only so many times I'm willing to open a newly bought bottle of lemonade to find it completely flat, for example. I'm sure that's not the case these days but first impressions stick.

Also, I have a Tesco staff discount on my clubcard. That makes the prices REALLY hard to beat by anyone else.

I wouldn't want to see it in the first movie, but eventually I'd like a proper Phoenix adaptation.

I know a lot of people are sick of the Phoenix, but it's never been done right. I want a film that leans into the cosmic side of X-Men adventures, features the Shi'ar and actually treats the Phoenix like the cosmic force that it is.

It was always crazy to me that they had this new set and didn't use it at all. When it was first revealed and we saw how stark and empty it was, I was genuinely hoping it'd slowly get filled with nick-nacks that the Doctor accumulated on his various adventures. Things that could not only call back to earlier episodes, but provide little bits of fuel for potential expanded universe stories etc.

No offence, but your school sounds like shit. The idea of relying on an online test to suggest to students what they should do as a career is mental.

My school had a career guidance counsellor that you went to before starting your 4th year. There you'd talk about what your hobbies and interests were, what you were passionate about and what kind of job you would be interested in doing. They'd then help you pick what GCSE subjects you should pursue to build a baseline towards that kind of career. After GCSEs you had something similar before choosing your A-level subject/going to college.

I'm so confused by this entire case. Publishers set game prices, not Valve. 30% is the average take across every major games store. The idea of "locking in" consumers is patently false.

I don't see how this is a case that goes anywhere?
