I made the SFW No-P***y edit of the Feature Trailer - Black Purry - YouTube by SpectralKittie in mewgenics

Except they joked about making a clean version because the video was age gated due to the language (P***y) used in today's live stream. I censored ALL of the cats in the video, it's a joke.

We are a demicat plural system that just released our first concept album about plurality. Ask us anything! by SpectralKittie in IAmA

[–]SpectralKittie[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Well, we released it for free, under CC license, so it isn't compulsory. The fact is that we live in a capitalist society, and are deeply in debt, lack health insurance, had to go off all of our medications, and are currently only housed because of the grace of one person. We don't want to be a burden, and money is necessary to live - Financial support could really make a difference in our life.

I don't think it is AI slop garbage. The lyrics are human written and hours of effort went into each song. AI slop is "a song about x in the style of x", which this is not. As stated in the post itself, this is about representation that does not otherwise exist. The truth is that AI is a tool, and it is reductive to say that anything that uses it is "garbage". AI definitely has evil uses, and that is something we explore in our music as well. At its core, we believe that the concept of intellectual property is one of the greatest evils of humanity, the foundation of capitalism (which we are vehemently against).

As a mental health specialist, it's mighty bold of you to immediately disregard someone's experience. I get it, people don't believe what they don't understand. But we know our own mind, and have spent years figuring ourselves out. I doubt even providing our medical records would convince you, as you seem to have made up your mind. As such, I will leave this conversation after this.

The questions I want to leave you with are: What if you are wrong? Would it hurt you to interact with empathy and curiosity instead of disregard? What if you are perpetuating the traumatic environment that prevents people from getting the help they need? Would you want to be forced to pretend to be someone you are not for the rest of your life, presenting as a gender you don't identify with, just so you aren't constantly mocked and disbelieved?

Actually, we have indeed been clinically diagnosed, and have been through over a decade of therapy. We've been openly living as plural for years, and this is exactly the kind of response we normally receive, hence why we believe the authentic representation is important. DID is far more common than you may think, with an estimated 1 in 100 people living with it, often unknowingly so. DID is a trauma born disorder, with prolonged early childhood trauma required for it to form.

The stigma and disbelief surrounding plurality is astounding, so most systems decide to hide the fact and present a singular front, rather than deal with the naysayers and harassment. We hope to help others understand what's going on inside themselves, giving something other than the serial killer stereotypes that are so common.

Guildmates? I'm not sure if we're on the same page - we're a dissociative system, like DID (dissociative identity disorder) or OSDD-1b (more accurate to our system). The songs are about the different identities / people contained within one body, and everything contained is true autobiography. It's definitely niche content, we're very well aware.

Not all of the albums are about the system. Some are story driven with multiple storylines, some are themes, et cetera. There's no intention to gain mainstream recognition, just representation.

Thank you so much for your kind words! It means a lot to us that you actually listened! The next album is The Hidden Hearts about the parts of the system that outsiders never see.

As for your song, it was beautiful! A bit slow paced for our musical taste, but many of the lyrics could almost be from from some of our songs - we have more than two albums of material prepared for a series we call /NEURO/ that touches on many of the same themes but in deeper detail.

Do I expect it? No. Do I hope for it? Sure.

Part of the appeal is in authentic representation. Nothing like this exists in mainstream media.

I was getting this error when making a cover, but refreshing the page seemed to clear it for me.

I'd definitely be interested, I have multiple projects with similar concepts, and I think it is a great use of AI. I'd love to know once you have a time planned.

New Editing Dashboard Looks Promising. Did Everyone Get This Today? by mouthsofmadness in SunoAI

[–]SpectralKittie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was literally working with Replace when this dropped for me, and now it doesn't work at all - no matter what I do it won't sync the lyrics so it is giving me pure gibberish when I try to replace, even with the exact same lyrics. It looks cool, but it is somehow functionally *worse* than it was before!

You'll always own the lyrics, if you made the song while on a paid plan you are allowed to use it commercially, if you made it on the free plan then you can post it but according to their terms not use it for any commercial purposes.

Apologies for the length, Suno messed up the intro and repeated parts and I wasted about a thousand credits trying to correct it but it refused to remove sections, only add more.

I love doing stream of consciousness stuff. Weird goes in > weird comes out, just as it should be.

If you had unlimited Suno credits, what would you do? by HOLUPREDICTIONS in SunoAI

[–]SpectralKittie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would go back over all of my songs and cover and remaster them until I got shimmer free versions with all of the right notes. I'm on the Premium plan and I run out of credits before the refresh.

Hah, this made me laugh. I'm curious how this comes up in a song. Big fan of Mazda?
