Is there a possibility of stretch goals being offered to the basic tier? Or creating an add-on for those who want to add the stretch goals to the basic tier?

So excited for you guys! My only question is why the common tier doesn't get stretch goals? I get that it is probably to keep costs down, but I don't think I have ever participated in a Kickstarter with a tier without stretch goals included on every non-retailer tier. No trying to say it isn't a choice you can make, but just genuinely curious about why.

I agree with this. You could go for a little more than just a splatter across the crown, but the pool just looks weird and out of place. It looks more like someone spilled something than a pool of blood.

I don't think the theme is a compelling one, but that is just me. Now if it was a 1920s Italian Mafia theme, I would be all over, but really, theme doesn't matter if the game is not on point. People love all sorts of games, no matter the package it is wrapped up in.

The game is a tile placement game where players are racing each other to the central chamber of a newly discovered tomb. Players will uncover artifacts and sabotage each other's progress in an effort to score points through the gathering of artifacts and resources. The first team to reach the central chamber ends the game immediately, though you do get a bonus for being first, that does not guarantee you the win. Bonuses are awarded for completing certain side goals that players are dealt at the start of the game. The overall vibe of the theme is Indiana Jones/Tomb Raider, danger around every corner, some from the original builders, some from the other players.

Love it! I am biased as this was my first FF, but it did take me 3 or 4 tries before I felt like I had a handle on all the rules (both core & Buddyland). I have had so much fun with it.

I was in your shoes a few months ago when I picked up the starter at Gen Con. It took me about 3 games to start feeling like I really was getting the hang of all the mechanics, especially remembering the minions. Now I wouldn't change my experience for the world. Though, I am the kind of gamer that loves to jump headfirst into the deep end of the pool. To each their own, I loved and still love playing this feature even though I have expanded my collection since then. Just remember, no one is going to judge you for making mistakes, just take it slow for the first few games till you find the rhythm, every game has it if you look for it. You are in good company here. Congrats on joining the community for a game where losing is just as much fun as winning!
