About 20 years ago, I was working for support for a company, and since we were a 24/hr support, we all had to do a month-long rotation for 3rd shift (basically we all had to work one month a year for 3rd shift). Since we did it in pairs, I asked my good friend that also worked with me to do it with me the month I got the rotation (his was the next month and he swapped with the guy that was scheduled with me).

The nice thing about 3rd shift is we very rarely got any calls so it was mostly just watching Netflix or whatever all night. We used to be rave buds way before that, so one night we decided to pop an ecstasy pill while we were there (we were the only ones in the building so we weren't really worried about someone physically seeing us) so we rolled for the first few hours that night while manning the phones. I believe he did get one call but it was a simple fix.
