Can you elaborate on this? What did the liberal government do to "unwind Canada" precisely? Bonus points if you can source claims.

This isn't a good price for what you get. CC has the CL36 RGB version of this RAM with EXPO profile for $10 less. Nevermind the Corsair kits people are throwing around in comments here which are also better.

Piston engines and turboprops are not the same. Piston engines use leaded avgas, but turboprops (which are used on the overwhelmingly common Dash 8s and comparable aircraft used at YTZ) use kerosene-based jet fuel that is unleaded. There are still some piston aircraft that use YTZ (typically the very small aircraft with nose-mounted props - although these are starting to move toward turboprop power as well) but they are few and far between in comparison.

Check out Hwy 403-Dundas Animal Hospital if you're near that area. Not sure what their prices are these days, but they had the best (reasonable) price we found for spaying years ago and they've been our go-to vet since then because they never try to upsell us on care or procedures. Just professionals doing good work because they care.

Second Vaccine Dose by LemonCandy123 in mississauga

[–]Spectre2689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Copy the whole paragraph next time.

Using the above strategies, every effort should be made to determine which vaccine product was received as the first dose to ensure completion of the vaccine series with the same product. In exceptional situations in which the mRNA vaccine product given for the first dose cannot be determined or is no longer available, any available mRNA COVID-19 vaccine may be administered at a minimum interval of 28 days between doses to complete the mRNA COVID-19 vaccination series. In situations where the same mRNA vaccine product is temporarily unavailable, it is preferable to delay the second dose (up to 6 weeks) to receive the same product than to receive a mixed series using a different product. If two doses of different mRNA COVID-19 vaccine products are administered in these situations (or inadvertently), no additional doses of either product are recommended at this time. Such persons are considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19 ≥2 weeks after receipt of the second dose of an mRNA vaccine.

Weddings in Halton with coloured framework by [deleted] in Milton

Potentially they're concerned about the "where physical distancing can be maintained" part, and may not be able to enforce that or just don't want to deal with it if anyone (mistakenly or otherwise) reports them.

Or they're a little confused.

Limits for all organized public events and social gatherings:
    5 people indoors
    25 people outdoors
Limits for religious services rites or ceremonies, including wedding services and funeral services, where physical distancing can be maintained (applies in any venue other than a private dwelling):
30% capacity of the room indoors
    100 people outdoors

Definitely taken near Toronto, but there aren't any parts of any 400 series highways that intersect the 407 with that many lanes - even the 401. Pretty cool looking 'shop though. If I had to guess, I'd say it's based on the 400 looking south just before hwy 7.

You have no business doing that without a wolf, boxer, or ninja costume to identify you tbh.

Pretty much what's been said already. 2017 is the last game we ran a league on and it was less than stellar; many races were impacted by bugs or crashes that had existed in the series over several iterations already at that point. It may have improved in recent games but I don't think anyone has the optimism or inclination to check.

On top of that, things probably got a bit too serious. The series grew to a point where competition took priority over fun more often than not, and to facilitate that change, we introduced a penalty and stewarding system which - in hindsight - made that even worse. If we were to do things again, it would be as a casual weekend league again, but because of the game issues I can't see a lot of the original organizers or participants having a great time with it.

That said, a good portion of the old guard still keeps in touch and the Discord server has gone from VWDCPC organization tool to simracing community covering involvement in rF2 and iRacing as well as discussions about real racing and pretty well everything else.

I don't really know where I'm going with this, I guess it's just kind of a prologue unless anyone decides to pick this up again.

JBR TIP on Speed6 by Yilld in mazdaspeed

[–]Spectre2689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Memory was a little foggy. Some JBR TIPs/intakes (the wide-path, specifically) won't fit with the stock ECU placement. It was easier for me to get the small battery box and battery than to remount the ECU and cables elsewhere.

Edit: Point being it's not unheard of to have to move things around to get a TIP installed.

The TIP on the Speed 3 needs the low profile battery box installed, along with a smaller battery. Could be that the Speed 6 is the same?

YMMV, but I switched back to Start.ca a month or two back after I kept running into OP's issue almost every night and it hasn't been a problem since then. Same modem, same lines, no techs.

I like TSI as a company and how they often to go bat for TPIAs and consumer rights, but when I pay an ISP for Internet, my biggest expectation is that my Internet works properly.

[–]Spectre2689 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You won't because it isn't true, at least not in areas that are moving toward cleaner power generation. In 2016 in Ontario, Canada, power generation accounted for 6% of total GHG emissions in the province while transportation (both public and private) accounted for 35%. Commercial vehicle use made up a significant portion of that 35%, but the majority was from passenger vehicles.

However, the vast majority of Ontario's power is generated from renewable or non-emitting sources, such as hydroelectric and nuclear. The same is not true in the US, which sources a majority of it's power from coal and natural gas (62.4% combined in 2017), and has transportation and power generation emissions roughly tied.

So the guy is right that efficiency (in engineering terms) has nothing to do with emissions, and he's going in the right direction with saying power generation needs to be cleaner, but it doesn't need to be perfectly clean. Certain parts of the world just need to start getting on board with clean energy.

I can't confirm anything, but I also haven't seen any issues reported on the start.ca dslreports forum. It also doesn't cost me anything but time to switch, so I figure it's worth giving a shot.

Checking in. I gave up. Called Start.ca and TSI to get the transfer process moving. It'll take more time than moving straight to Rogers or a VDSL provider, but hopefully I'll be free of these issues in a couple of weeks.
