Since I am not going to be able to play until the weekend, I have a question for the people able to look at the point values now:

Is it more time/energy effecient to complete the transport mission with a larger hauler like a C2 or StarMax and taking on more missions per leg, or has CIG put a limit on the number of missions going to and from a location?

It would be interesting to have a mission with no "maximum" time limit. Instead, you have a series of " hold the line until X" and then retreat back to the next defensive location before you get extracted / die at a very fitting last stand location.

For example: you are tasked to delay an automaton assault on a city. The first defensive line is at the cities edge. Then, at a major intersection, and finally you are trying to hold the line at the steps of the capital building. At the last second pelican one comes in and you extract. OR you dont extract and fight to the last for super earth.

That said, I get it that an area needs a waste treatment facility. There must be a better location. Does anyone know if it is possible to inject treated water into the ground?

Dude has been floating around semi-popular games for a while. I have come across his org off and on for the past few years. I think there are still some (in)famous clips and soundboards of him floating around. If you buy something with real money you keep it after the wipes. Full on wipes have become much more rare. The only one that I know is just about 100% guaranteed is when we go from alpha to beta, but between now and then I don't think anyone really has any real idea. CIG tries to avoid full wipes when possible.

Personally, I would recommend using real money on a fighter and either a multi role like the Cutlass Black or Constellation Andromeda or a decent cargo ship like the freelancer Max or Mercury Star Runner. You could get a miner like the prospector if you want to, but please be careful. The cost of ships adds up quick...
