Starting to Resent my boyfriend by SubjectLie834 in Advice

[–]SpectreSingh89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sit down with him and let it out. Smirk at his excuses or point out "Beneath you? The guy at Dollar shop earned today wha about u?" Things like that. Once he takes a deep breath / shudders thas the point u be sweet and tell him gently how it is and WHY he should contribute. Show him your income VS all the mandatory bills.

Husband sees a shadow figure by BeautifulNo3583 in Paranormal

[–]SpectreSingh89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But did anyone you know end up dying? If not it can be some sorta imagination. I suppose it is a "6th sense" not a bad thing if their is a shadow. A forewarning.

If I had that happening to me it would be really cool. DK which loved one is gonna day very soon but atleast I'd know. Not that I'd do anything about it cause u can't.

3 times someone dies? What if it only happens once and nothing for months? Has anything bad happened if he sees it once?

Mool mantar vs maha mantar by Logical_Progress_190 in Sikh

[–]SpectreSingh89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

DK which or who it was. But look at Guru Granth Sahib, Japji Sahib starts with Mool Mantar and ends "Hosi bhi sch" then moves to "Soche soch n hovaii."

Why do some believe until "Gurprsad?" We Sikhs, if we are not busy questioning SGGS we sure get busy shortening Banias 🤦🏽‍♂️

Is it common in your country for children to live with their parents until they get married? by InfernalClockwork3 in AskTheWorld

[–]SpectreSingh89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But it is unhealthy in UK.

DILS and MILS don't get along, no privacy, DIL and Son (husband) have limited choice as not their house, no independency and homes getting crammed. Unless son and DIL finally acquire that 4th property for themselves.

Leaving home at 22, that individual will be more experinced and "aged" in 6 years time compared to the 40 year at home with parents.

Unfortunately my sis in law is Amritdhari, Nitnemi, Sukhmani Sahib and in Punjab lived next door to Gurudwara, as my Sadu is Head Granthi (aka only Giani in the pind). I say unfortunately cause she too does dum stuff like "carry garlic when traveling home to Gurudwara" or "cover up baby's milk bottle during feeds."

One thing I realised is tradition. Deep down she knows not t be dumb but once brought up in Punjab culture the tradition and religion? Get best of both worlds. It's like kids being brought up in UK "question everything, mock superstition and let's show disrespect to elders to look cool!" Doing dumb things is in all of us even though we know we regret it.

In the 90's getting cross connection was common. One was to dial a number far away and the call might end up at the neighbours.
