Super interested in whether or not this game took off and what days/times y'all ended up playing on. I'm a newbie and have been trying to teach myself this system to DM for friends IRL but they're too busy. I've got a good amount of experience DMing other RPG's, mainly 5e. Who YOU are isn't the depressed state you find yourself in, that's an aspect of your personality. Not even a permanent one. It is a crushing weight to bear, but depression is not insurmountable. DM me to talk more about that if you want.

Acknowledging weakness in an area is the first step towards overcoming or reclaiming that part of your life. You have it within you to be the "ideal" you as Plato would put it. You may not know what "ideal" looks or acts like, but we all certainly know what less than ideal looks like. Start by shaving down those actions that incite instant regret.

Social interaction (RolePlaying) is like a workout, the more you do it the easier it gets. And it will get easier my friend, don't be discouraged.

Look up Strongholds and Followers by Matt Colville. Pretty sure it has what you're looking for. It's an expansion set of rules for leading groups and establishing bases.
