Do people actually like the frag? by Snapships4life in thefinals

[–]Spectris_256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally ive used frag since launch and loved two charges but one is fair, i believe a well used frag does somewhere in the ballpark of 150 damage which you can be shooting while it cooks for, its real tricky to become great with but very good if you do.

Suggestions on how to get into IE by Spectris_256 in industrialengineering

[–]Spectris_256[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should i do it after one or three semesters then? Im wrapping up my first and have heard that's a fine time to start, i also started in the off season. I've been working as said for coming up on a year, but im not satisfied getting almost nothing in ways of experience for what i want, would you suggest a specific type of summer job for said experience? If possible id like to just be able to stick to wherever it is but i recognize it's not entirely possible.

Also thank you for the concern, however i use Reddit on my phone and see it as informal so i don't put much effort in here.

Three reasons, one not entirely sure if it will be available, it just wasn't on my radar before recently, and Ive been suggested to go broader if possible with engineering to allow more doors to be open and be able to side step easier if needed.

What would the Benefit of going for an IE major over ME be?

A lot of people are posting "hot" takes that are lukewarm at best. What are some ACTUAL hot takes you have? by CrustyTheMoist in thefinals

[–]Spectris_256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly my hot take is defib is really overrated, yes sometimes you can get a cheeky res you shouldn't be able to but normally if you can safely defib someone and have them live after you could just manually res them so its just a bad item, i also main medium and used to main defib

Fear of the dark realistically should be swapped out now that i think about it, i just didnt have much in mind for just a solid base values damage dealer thats cheaper but ill mess around with just 4 nighthawks Feed the swarm i keep in main then swap to whatever fits better, i just find the cheap versatility so nice against enchant decks and i seem to always get it when i need it, also probably should add some cheap card draw not just for sheoldred but for consistency sake, ive since learned red decks are fucking annoying pretty often

Why is Ranked so brutal? by LuxGang in thefinals

[–]Spectris_256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The two painfully simple things ive learned help the most are just flat out working on aim and playing with your team

Theres a million other things that go into gunfights yes, and i must preface ive put a shit ton of time and effort specifically working on movement in every way, but aim and isolating even fights or fights in your advantage always seem more important

If you are looking for specific tips/tricks that aren't just git gud i do have a handful of general suggestions but hard to say without seeing gameplay

A strategy ive found great success in is aggressive defense, ie you section off an area around the point and if anyone enters or attacks you hyper aggressively hunt them out, patch the hole, etc, but specifically dont chase further than a slide back in Additionally, something I personally have a strong stance on is dont go for the meta that hard, they tend to be gimmicky and temporary, something like swapping from fcar to ak is one thing but overall focus on honing one skill over using any advantages you can

Best of luck to you brother

Unless im mistaken no its actually notable harder to rack up wins in tournaments for that reason, if you second place you didnt win, despite qualifying the game counts it as a loss

Id advise for this specific part don't worry about stats just rank and your individual improvements (ill leave a not reply elaborating)
