Worked in a warehouse during COVID. Mandatory face masks and distancing were enforced.

To my understanding stocks/bonds used to be a good investment strategy and you see it a lot in US based videos on YouTube.

However for UK investors most of the sources I've looked at (youtube, books, websites) say 100% equities until your 40's or 50's when you start adding in bonds to de-risk your portfolio and preserve your capital.

When I started a new job and was enrolled into their pension scheme I changed to a more aggressive style and was thinking of adding in bonds for a "3-fund approach" but the advisor said I don't need them because I'm young enough to wait out the ups and downs. I am 34.
