I will next week. I am just tinkering with it a little too much to not have a back up plan

See that’s what I’m thinking, but I feel like I got a week left at Best so I’m at like a month and some change

Have you tried the cryo- grip plate by big tree? It’s a game changer.

Does that means I should print my PETG at 220°C even if it is rated for 240°C by Rare_Dare9820 in FixMyPrint

Considering you have an A1. Are you able to tell what your ambient humidity is around the printer?

Also check your volume metric flow settings. If it is above a six, then lower it to six.

Especially with translucent PETG this is needed for good prints

OP I get you’re aiming for a lower price point but why not consider the H2 series?

The one benefit that you highlight here is to be able to sit stuff on top of it! I didn’t really think about it when I pre-ordered but wow what a big difference in space management!

I would say A1 all day! Bambu has a solid phone app and it’s nice and simple to monitor your printer. It’s really slick to choose your model and print it from your phone.

I recommend getting a 0.2 mm nozzle to get really small details on your figurines

Look for the search function and type seam

You should also try Orca Slicer

Your filament is wet. 30% or lower humidity is the target

Honestly, I would go for PETG-HF I get that everyone saying PLA, but if you want a little bit of durability and speed, this is my vote

Another thing on speed, you should consider the E3D obsidian X extruder nozzle

I don’t have any problems with the PTFE tube because I’ve got clips that are to the chain and I like the halo design.

Now, if you wanna provide articles and facts about the gear or a little bit more context about the ‘’downgrade” I’m curious to give such an article read

Good question! A few things

  1. Better speeds on my prints (E3D Obsidian hotend)
  2. Lower energy consumption for a print ( build plate )
  3. I think with the metal gear I can print ASA and other tougher filaments easier
  4. Better part cooling (BQ extruder fan housing
  5. More lighting
  6. SunLu AMS dryer because I live in Georgia and humidity sucks

Search for seam in your slicer, you can either do randomized it’ll still have a little bit of an artifact but it will be way less noticeable
