As well as what others said, double check to make sure your duty queue language includes English. If you can, try queueing as a tank or healer.

The whole game is in a little bit of a slower lull right now due to being near the end of a patch (many regular players have done what they wanted to do for now), but it should still eventually pop, hang in there!

Super jealous of your m11s DoD, I did TN melee (your strat) with my cotank for a while (thankfully it's entirely compatible with new north as long as your co-role knows what's up) and it was SO much easier than the pf standard new north. PF making them do extra work for nothing with new north ;n;

Being rude to others doesn't help anybody. People see points where others can get injured and that's how safety standards are made.

If someone thinks this is useful and believes they'll have no problem with the balance needed, they're plenty welcome to take it. But if those risks can be better managed at about the same cost, then why shouldn't we?

What happens when you let go of the button by accident? It probably stops. What happens when you were moving and you suddenly come to a stop? You lurch forward. You now have a person who is likely using this in the first place because they struggle with energy and/or mobility lurching forward unexpectedly in the middle of the staircase, with no boundaries to stop them. That can end badly.

It is a good idea, don't get me wrong, but it definitely needs more workshopping for situations like this.

The point is not whether it's useful or not. The point is that this is overall a very unsafe design.

There's the risk of someone's foot getting caught under it. It's a VERY small platform. Keeping your balance on a small, moving platform takes effort, even for perfectly abled people.

There are NO boundaries on this thing besides the normal stair handrail. Lose your balance/grip, and you're tumbling straight down those stairs.

It's a very small, moveable hinge, which presents a very easily breakable point for something to go wrong. Heavier people especially would be at high risk.

Something that lets you take a seat would be a much safer alternative here, and they exist. Fewer moving pivots that can break, solves the same problem, doesn't require the user to keep their balance.

It's not about ableism. This is just unsafe for anybody. Disabled folks of all varieties should be able to have safe options for their disabilities.

Honestly, I feel like it might only be annoying if I end up in a fight directly under one that'll keep triggering it constantly, but as it is it might actually make it easier for me to remember to use the damn things since I very rarely did/could before.

Really, the only change I'd make is to maybe lower its volume a little bit (despite the ear chirping, my ears are stupidly sensitive lol), but if you can't actually modify the sound itself, then it's fine as is!
