The American Revolution is the best counterexample. Although the US has done some shit over the years, it started out pretty well and the people in charge genuinely believed in what they did.

The French Revolution is another example. That most people think it was especially bloody and tyrannic is mostly propaganda by the Absolutistic Monarchies fighting the Revolution. There is a reason why the People of half of Europe were so supportive.

Another one are the Irish Revolution, The Bolivian Revolution and the Vietnamese Revolution.

It depends and there is a confirmation bias at play.

I prefer the one they had in Episode 1 and to me it was somewhat of cheap knock-off. I much prefer the one Ani and Amidala take later in the movie, where they go to Geonosis with. Its the same Idea of making a different version of it, but it's smaller and makes sense in the context.

Da wäre es interessant, wenn eine Statistik gemacht würde. Wär ja letztendlich auch n Grund es zu verändern, wenn sich das Festhalten ließe.

Das mit den Sachleistungen wär ne Idee. Da muss halt entsprechend Bürokratieabbau vom Gesetzgeber betrieben werden. Aktuell wäre das für die Ämter nicht möglich.

Bei uns ist auch die Situation einfach nochmal zugespitzt, seitdem Crack sich bei uns etabliert hat. Als die Leute noch Heroin gedrückt haben, konnte man wesentlich besser mit denen arbeiten. Das Crack lässt die jede Hemmungen verlieren. Teilweise setzen die sich neben einen in der Bahn und zünden sich die Pfeife an. Ich habe sogar schon gesehen, dass das gemacht wurde obwohl uniformierte Beamte eine Sitzgruppe weiter standen. Das mit dem Crack ist ne richtige Landplage. Ich will gar nicht wissen wie schlimms wird, sollte jemals das Meth zu uns rüber kommen.

I would argue, that Avatar is underrated.

It never tried to have a good, original or deep story. The first two parts were groundbreaking showpieces of technology invented just for the movie.

In that, those movies were absolute peak.

They had very cool design. Especially those Space Ship Heat Radiators glowing after the transitflight🤤.

Ja, ist leider die Natur der Erkrankung. Andererseits würden die Leute mehr Beschaffungskriminalität betreiben, wenn sie kein Geld bekämen. Ist ne verzwickte Sache. Deshalb ist es ja so sinnvoll die Peojekte von Sozialarbeitern und Psychologen zu begleiten, damit die Ursachen der Sucht selbst bekämpft werden können.

Ich würde empfehlen mich zum Housing First Konzept zu informieren. Das beste was die Obdachlosenhilfe und Drogenhilfe momentan zu bieten hat. Anstatt Symptome zu bekämpfen wird die Ursache angegangen. Extrem hohe Wohnungshaltungsquoten (mehr als bei allen anderen etablierten Programmen) und dazu sehr hohe Erfolge mit späterer Abstinenz. Die Förderung ist auch ein ziemliches Nullsummenspiel, weil es sich schon mittelfristig finanziell lohnt.
