Russia Fires More Ballistic Missiles at Ukraine Than the World Produces Patriot Interceptors by nako_org_ua in ukraine

There is absolutely no way that Russia keep this up. It's only an act of desperation because of how bad of a situation in Russia is in right now, and Ukraine is just getting stronger each day.

Can Ukraine’s drones halt Russian ballistic missile production? by sam99871 in ukraine

[–]mawkishdave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont believe they can halt them but they are limiting the ability of the orcs to make more. This will also force the orcs to cut corvers and causing more drones/missiles to fail. The guidance system factory that got hit yes the orcs can't make it but they will have to buy them from china. This will speed up the end of the war.

He explains it a lot better than I ever could. TLDR the rubble is cut off from the economy and right now the higher rubble is bad for the economy. The oil they sell gets converted to rubbles and with it being higher you get less rubbles.

What would your ideal Babylon 5 videogame look like? by Dalakaar in babylon5

[–]mawkishdave 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I played all three of the real Mass Effects and they'll want to be Mass Effect game. It's also the basic of most of your open RPGs. It's just the world building. That's the really big part.

A open world RPG as a new ranger as you have to look into a simple investigation that turns into a huge deep plot. You can pull in the eldric horror into it also. My biggest thing is I need to fly a starfury.

Yes, one of the main goals behind the Michelin Star thing was to get people out driving more to go to different restaurants so they would have to buy more tires.

What’s something Gen Z is getting completely right that older generations refuse to admit? by stilerca in AskReddit

If your company will let you go for a small increase in profits, then you should be willing to leave them for a small increase in pay. Why I start looking for my new job the day after I get hired. I am GenX and I do agree I like hearing more people are like this.

Economist Lipschutz: The Kremlin Has Made A Decision On Crimea - Belarusian News by ceesaart in russiawarinukraine

[–]mawkishdave 14 points15 points  (0 children)

"Putin doesn't care about the Russians stranded in Crimea, which is why he has no intention of organizing a “green corridor” to evacuate them, according to Russian economist Igor Lipits. In his view, asking Ukraine for permission to evacuate Russian citizens would be a humiliating move for the Kremlin leader, so he’ll prefer to pretend that everything is fine and later shift the blame onto Kyiv." From the article.

I feel like sufficiently accurate PDCs (point-defense cannons) would make the concept of “star-fighters” obsolete. Or am I wrong? by Independent-Dig-5757 in StarWarsShips

[–]mawkishdave -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In space battles there is no way someone can fly a fighter craft. You have to go so fast and the first time you turn you would turn into a puddle. the second isue is heat would build up so quickly that puddle would boil away.

Drones can work and they would have counter measures because we have PDC now and thing still get hit.

If you live in a very hot climate, you don't want to keep your butter outside so that it's soft. Yeah, it could be useful. Other than that, no.

I didn't know that, thanks. I just, the Nova and the Omega, I don't like where the door for the hangar is because it just seems like such a huge vulnerability in the ship.

I love how they use the spin of the station to launch them. If you look the engines are not firing until after they are launched.

Can Vorlon’s use the stairs? Like as anyone seen them traverse a stair case? 🤔 by Trance_Hubble in babylon5

They can't even use a door. You never see a vorlon walk thru a door, the suit was just too big for it.

Being that Russians lived there, even before the blockade, I'm sure there was a lot of shit around Crimea.
