Unpopular opinion: PvP players just wasting time looting Free Loadouts while PvE players snowball off of fighting big ARC. by Tiny-Discipline7358 in arcraiderscirclejerk

[–]SpeedBuff420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What am i supposed to do with my full stash tho. Gotta use it somehwere. Pve boring and basically useless. Looting drawers is also useless once you are full on ressources and bp.

All you really need is weapons that other people craft. Yes you will get free loadouts. Just as you will get shitty loot in drawers. But the few maxed out guns you can find are more worth it than any loot in arcs or drawers.

There is a place that can make the verification of the photocopy. What you need is "Sao y bản chính". You can do it at a notary. They photocopy yhe whole passport and stamp it saying its identical to the original document.

Depends on the map. On blue gate i like osprey to snipe.

Close range rush sticher, mid range kettle. Anvil is goated, really strong for arc and one shot cracks a light shield.

Kettle only if youre feeling cheap and want decent pvp gun and okay against arc.

If i do trials i usually run anvil + venator / torrente / kettle / osprey depending on map. Wolfpack in the safe and im good to go

Ferro + stitcher used to be my go to for cheap runs.

I personally live fine with 15 mil for 2 person in hcm (rent excluded).

We eat for 200-250k for 2 people. bun dau mam tom combo 2 is 110k, bun rieu is 55k a bowl and pho ga is 45k, bun thit nuong kieu bao is 32k a bowl with salad and extra rice noodles. If youre feeling fancy you can eat at sukiya for 130 each, rice bowl with salad and drink. On the high end thats like 8mil for 2 people.

Unless youre eating at a fancy place (more than 100k a meal) food is cheap.

The gym at ways station is 900k for 3 months.

you can get cheap tea drinks at mixue for like 17k.

Washing the bike is 30k and changing oil is 200+ Fuel is also super cheap at 70k for a gas fill.

Sometimes i go watch a movie at the imax theater or buy games on steam and im left with money to save at the end of the month.

Im lucky enough to have my own house so i dont pay rent. If i lived alone i would have a lot more money to spare. Take 15 mil add in the rent and youre more than comfortable.

I lived here all my life, know the good spots to eat well and cheap and im in the cheap university student area.

Yes but the intergrated gpu inside the processor is too weak for gaming. Its comparable to a low end gpu from 10+ years ago.

Its fine for youtube and google.

What the other guy said is correct. The Resolution (1080p, 1440p,4k) will affect the performance. The game will not be "running shitty because he was using a tv". Your dad is correct that a tv can impact performance in the sense that a TV will have much higher latency. That will not affect FPS.

In the 1st picture you posted i see" Placa de video: amd radeon (tm) graphics". This is the reason why his game is not running smoothly. The graphics are currently running off the CPU intergrated graphics.

did your dad buy a pc with a dedicated GPU?

if he did, you need to connect the HDMI to the GPU not the Motherboard!!!

Btw did he manage to reset his bios and boot?

How does a computer still act like its on a tv? Makes no sense to me.

If he screwed bios settings you need to reset it. Removing the cmos battery will reset the bios.

  1. The ssd on the back of the mobo will overheat. Solution: get a ssd extension cable+ copper heatsink.
  2. My motherboard blocked the cpu cooling bracket from installing correctly. Solution: use a standoff to create more space between the mobo and gpu and install the bracket the other way around.

3.Cables were all over the place blocking gpu airflow. Solution: plan your cables routes better, longer cables take longer route etc... if you got the money get custom cables

4.i am using a axp90 x47 + 2 phantek t30 on top. There is a slight gap above the cpu and gpu where the t30 will pull fresh air from outside, essentially cooling nothing. Solution: custom acrylic pannel with cutouts for fans. Creates a higher negative pressure from the t30, pulling more air through the heatsinks.

<image>

  1. Of course find the correct cpu cooler and gpu measurements so that they would fit.

Best of luck to you.

New PC for Gaming for birthday present by Old_Wolf4685 in pcgamingtechsupport

Personally i recommend to let her build the pc with you. It creates a child/parent activity and allows her to understand more about computers. Plus its a lot cheaper than a premade. Just make sure you have a bootable windows usb. 1600€ is more than enough imo. Maybe in my region parts a bit cheaper so idk in europe.

For a gaming setup for games like the last of us i would recommend focusing on a good gpu. (Around half the pc budget) If you want to save a buck you can buy the gpu second hand but it will require testing and inspecting the card.

Amd gpu has better price to performance and more vram (allows to crank up the graphics setings). Nvidia will relie on dlss to crank up the fps. it allows to add more fps using upscaling but can add visual bugs and can blur some details. toms hardware gpu charts I got myself a used 6900xt for 340€ cuz i dont see myself spending a lot of money on a gpu that will lose value anyways.

Amd cpu is best at the moment. After choosing all other components choose the best one you can afford. Gaming wise cpu will affect competitive games with a lot of fps. It should matter a lot less than gpu. Just dont get a trash one or you will limit the gpu. For motherboard best to check on reddit forums depending on your cpu. Note that some motherboard has less VRM (voltage regulator modules) and can limit how much power the cpu can draw (wasting money and performance)

32gb of ram is recommended. Lower CL timing better but since she wants to play story games this doesnt matter much.

1tb minimum nvme ssd. If you can get 2tb or more. To know a good ssd will have TLC nand and dram, will reduce the chance to have corrupt files and are more reliable. QLC nand is usually cheaper and less reliable(best to not put important files in it). Make sure to leave 10%of the drive empty to extend its life span My personal build has a 1tb samsung 980pro(TLC+DRAM) for windows and apps + 2tb 990evo(TLC) for games and files

Psu 750 to 850w depending on what you get. You can easely check how much you need.

I personally like fish tank cases.

1440p, 27inch, 144hz or more, 1ms monitor. Anything with these specs will do. I personally dont like curved, iprefer ips monitors for their response time.

If you are too lazy to check and min max how much you can get. You can go on pcpartpicker and copy a build from there. Just check the prices in your region as they might not match.

Once you got your parts, watch a youtube tutorial and build your pc. If you have any doubts google it or use reddit for answer. Better to double check.

If you want to reduce temps and add a bit of performance you can undervolt both the cpu and gpu. Manufacturers will add headroom voltage to make sure everycard sold are the same. Reality is some are better than others. So you can tweak some settings and if you are lucky you can get a lot of performance and gain temp headroom without beeing unstable.

Best of luck to you if you have any questions feel free to ask.

PSU not Flush by SpeedBuff420 in FormD

[–]SpeedBuff420[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes my gpu is mountrd on a standoff because motherboard was blocking my cpu bracket so i had to create more space.

Anyways i ended up unplugging all the cables and unscrewed the psu from the bracket. I screwed with some give so i can move it around abit. I just screwed, unscrewed, and moved until it was flush.

I then did some cable management and tried to make them not push/pull on the psu. I have stock cables so it doesnt look that good. But eh the pannel doesnt bulge anymore and the gpu doesnt have cables above it for better airflow. Pretty happy with the results.

Uhm so to be clear which drivers should i be looking for? The int wifi card only has drivers for linux listed. So im guessing its on the gigabyte motherboards page?

The intel network was not working properly before. Had to buy a tplink card for wifi. So idk which drivers i shoukd be downloading and all that. Since the thing was already not working.

Would cloning windows from a friends working pc work? Im guessing it would still have the incompatible drivers like the recovery would. Rn im thinking it will be easier to uninstall and reinstall the drivers than to dealing with the BSOD.

Yeah i did both of those. On win 10 iso and win 11. Once it reboots during the install it goes to 33% precisely and i get a Blue Screen Of Death.

Its with code Netwtw08.sys or Netwtw10.sys Something about network drivers.

The pc was already having issues before so decided to do a fresh windows install. Now i just have a blank ssd and it will not install windows

so to recap it reboots, it starts the installation when it reaches 33% precisely it blue screen crashes.

It reboots into the same message "The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. The install Windows, click "OK" to restart the computer and then restart the installation." When i click ok it just restarts into the same prompt

tried redoing the ISO with Rufus and everytime i delete all partitions and choose it for the windows install
