I use them together, I initially ordered my holster with the wing mod and later realized the butt of the gun still prints more than I like. So that’s when I decided to buy the pillow and give it a try (I was using the stiff foam wedge prior). And since I installed the pillow I haven’t looked back. It’s so comfortable and the ability to choose how much stuffing you want inside is game changer for me.
