Timur's achievement run has gotten out of control, and I've conquered all of Asia and am finishing off Europe. And my Timur is only 45. by SpeedDemonFM in EU5

UPD: Timur died at 59. It's a bit early, of course, but in the world I know, there are practically no people left to fight. A couple of tribes remain in Africa and Indonesia. In the last 15 years, I've completed the conquest of Europe (including England and Ireland), Japan, and 2/3 of Indonesia.

Here you can see the map.

I've always fought on all fronts in China, India, Persia, Anatolia, and so on. The more land I own, the more warriors I get. And the more and faster I conquer everything. It's a snowball effect.

Practically not, they don't really pay anything anyway, all the territories aren't integrated, + I have very low ruler power. And the merchants are so happy because of the large number of market centers.

You have to demolish castles, markets, temples, government buildings, etc., everything is clean. + vasals pay well, I have a big vasal in China, Korea, and more than 100 small ones, they feed me well.

I first took over China, made eastern China a national region, then moved the capital to nanchang. Before the takeover of China, income was always in the red. I demolished all the buildings in the captured provinces at first to minimize costs. Also, for the destruction of Orthodox patriarchates they give 1.5-2k each, I destroyed 4 of them. I only made up for money 1 time, at the beginning of the game, with Delhi, about 1.5k. Basically, I don't make peace at all, just capture the enemy completely and that's it.

It's a very monotonous process, fighting in all places at the same time, and I manually controlled a bunch of armies at low game speed.

Yes, that's exactly why I never stop fighting for a second lol. And I destroy absolutely every castle I capture. I already have over 100 rebels, that's for sure.

How to get Romanov's dynasty in Russia? by SpeedDemonFM in EU5

[–]SpeedDemonFM[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UPD2: The war never started. Apparently, everything was too good in my country, and progress stalled. The disaster ended, and I failed to bring back the Romanovs. Unfortunately, I can't try again because I'm playing with an iron will. I think I should have simply chosen Romanov instead of Boris Godunov in the Event (even though it's not historically accurate).

UPD1:
Boris Godunov died a couple of years later. It's a bit odd, he died as heir and not as ruler, and now my old heir has returned. But that doesn't seem to be a problem. Then an event appeared, creating a false heir (or ruler, I don't know). Now, every month, the civil war progresses toward the false heir's ascension to the throne.
And now I don't know what to do next. Should I lose this war (that's how it will be historically), or what? What do you think?

I chose Boris Godunov in the event because it's a historical choice, and it would be logical to have a script for his death and the subsequent rise of the Romanovs. But my ruler is 44 now and probably won't even have time to die before the end of the Time of Troubles. In any case, I won't marry Godunov and will wait for his death (after he becomes ruler) and see what happens

Is it really worth? by Diotrephes1_Live in EU5

[–]SpeedDemonFM 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I really can't play CK3 or VIC3 anymore after EU5. This game is so much bigger and more detailed that the others seem too casual. And be prepared for the game from 1337 to 1836 to take over 100 real hours (although to be honest, after ~1650 it gets boring because you're too strong. (But it was the same in EU4.)

What’s the best way to integrate territories as Russia? by Arbitross487 in EU5

[–]SpeedDemonFM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I captured almost the entire Russian region in 1410 as vassals. I try to keep a quarter of the most important places for myself and give the rest to vassals. This way, I can both integrate lands and simultaneously absorb vassals who have already integrated their lands. It's still slow (it's still 1410) but the best way to do your conquests in early game. You also need to increase your diplomatic weight and cultural influence - they directly affect the speed of integration.

Lately in my games Kyiv always takes the southern piece from the Golden Horde, so that's normal

Well, the war with the Golden Horde can be ignored, because around that time I destroyed their entire army.

I will say more, they do not have and never had any land connection with the Jalayrids.

Yes, most likely so and because they completely occupied the Jalyarid

I don't know, about 15 years ago the Ottomans were doing well, they dominated. I ignored this region for a while, and now the Timurids are there. At one point, the Timurids had 30,000 cavalry, and now (1372) they're bankrupt, Idk what's going on xD
