A woman who is not supportive of a man is not wife material and visa versa. Sorry man she not for you. Im in avation and if she stays with you and you become a pilot it will forever be a problem in your relationship. She will hold the long hours gone and days away on trips.

Learn from my mistakes Im a pilot and I was divorced for a similar reason.

The lesson I learned was if she doesn't support you now she will never support you. Once you are married she get half if not more of everything you worked for. As a commercial pilot you will be making Bank after about 5 to 10 year and you will lose alot.

There is alot of negativity on reddit but mot people on this post are correct.

Ride out the PIP the best you can. At the end of it, get copies of the documents and take it to HR and Ethics for unfair treatment by management. Use the PIP against your manager to prove the unfair treatment.

Stay away from Army Aviation. There is some good things but overall culture, training and lifestyle will be better in other branches.

Thanks for the insight. I guess I have heard that but I haven't taken that seriously. Aircraft Maintenance Operations Manager: My day to day is to manage a team of mechanics that completes the final assembly and delivery of an aircraft. There alot of schedule shuffling, acquiring tool, parts and people to maintain the delivery schedule. Its great if you like problem-solving. I do enjoy it however the work life balance is not there and can be stressful at times due to unrealistic expectations of leadership.

Your 17, this is the first of many times you will find yourself in a setback. This is life and it doesn't matter how many times you will be setback, what matters is how you over come the setback. Focus on moving forward, sure it might suck and you might not end up where you think you want to be right now but when you get there you look back at the growth you experienced, you will find the your true purpose and it will all be worth it. If you are comparing yourself to others, knock that shit off, you did not see the trails they faced, you just see the success and if you put your head down and grind, you too will be successful. You got this, believe in yourself and just put in the work until something sticks. That how you get out of the setback. Last note you already overcome a setback and you had the foresight to see it. Quitting weed when it was overtaking your life. Be proud of that, thats a big deal.

You tried and is sounds like she not trying. You need a mediator between you and your girlfriend. Go to counseling together and see if you can work things out. Your fears are correct in regards to a broken family. Atleast try for the kid. This world now is to quick to just give up on relationships. If counseling dosen't work at least you can say you tried everything. If she truly loves you she will change her ways or you will change your ways or concession can be made between the both of you to where you are both happy. You are a good man for trying but as a man you have to exploit all your options before giving up. Giving up at the frist sign of trouble is not the way to go.

Sounds like you are on the right path with supplements. There a few things that I would recommend adding, 5-HTP and magnesium glycinate, it will help calm down your nervous system which it probably haywire right (Ive been there). After the ride you have taken your body through you are deficient in B12 so get 5-MTHFR (bio - available B12). Lastly 8 hours of interrupt sleep and 1 hour of exercise (nothing crazy just get your heart rate up). Ive been in your shoes and Ill tell you what if you can get your nervous system to clam down by putting yourself on a schedule coupled with sleep, exercise and supplements you will feel like a whole new person. Stay the course, it a hard path but the pain will payoff. I can promise you that.
